This is exactly why we love Trendy Laundromat & Dry Cleaners – they’re just the best in this field. In our experience, we saw that they take a careful amount of time assessing clothing pieces first to find stains or any signs of tear.

Right off the bat, we were initially surprised to see a laundromat specializing in cleaning hockey equipment. But thanks to iCLEANSOCKS, we appreciated this particular service more, and they might have just the standards we want, in our opinion.
According to the past clients we’ve surveyed, the shop excelled in hockey equipment cleaning, with items returning looking brand new. Looking into their process, we saw that items get washed, scrubbed, then rewashed – the spick and span aftermath was truly exemplary.
After this, the hockey items undergo a heating process designed to kill any bacteria on the surface. Suffice it to say the equipment arrived at the clients’ doorsteps ready to be worn like it’s the first time.
Of course, they also offer standard laundry services such as your typical wash and fold package. The minimum load is 30lbs and is competitively priced at $1.99 per pound (for reference, other shops charge differently per pound depending on the type of clothing).
Additionally, pick up and delivery is free in the GTA, which is just a delight for the budget-conscious. Turnaround times are really fast too – if they pick up your laundry today, you’ll get it as soon as the following day.
Finally, our favorite thing here is the fact they accept requests for any type of soaps, softeners, and bleaches. We believe this is a strong feature for our meticulous friends out there who are pretty sensitive to cleaning products.

If you’ve made countless trips to the laundromat before, you know full well how bleak the experience can be. But Yummi Café Laundromat takes things in a different direction – it’s one of the most enjoyable trips we’ve made thus far.
Unlike other laundromats, you don’t have to wait dully on steel benches as you watch your clothes tumble (if doing self-service). Here, you can sit down and watch a TV or even enjoy some refreshments while you wait for the cycle to complete.
It’s not all about self-service either. Even their drop-off and delivery service met our standards and many clients can vouch for this service.
This particular transaction is relatively fast as you can expect your laundry back in a day or two. If it’s an urgent matter, you can book them for same-day service and get your order before 1:00 PM (this comes at an extra cost, of course).
Standard wash and fold services start at $1.75, which is a fair rate on its own (the minimum job is 30lbs or $52.50). And, they even offer a 13% discount if you decide to pay in cash so it chops down the total you have to pay.
Connecting with the shop for pickup is also convenient as they’re available via text, call, or email. Overall, it offers a remarkable experience unlike most cookie-cutter laundromats and we’re very pleased so far.

When it comes to convenience, we have to give the crown to DoMyLaundry. With their comprehensive plans plus a mobile app to schedule pick-ups, sending wash loads is easier than usual here for most clients.
One of the things that made them stand out is that they have monthly laundry plans with 2 different tiers. There’s a package specifically for singles and one for couples (the latter is currently their most popular option due to bigger capacity).
If the monthly subscription is too much for your taste, there’s also a scheduled weekly pickup option. Of course, there are also one-time wash and fold transactions in case you only need the laundry service once.
The strongest reason we love the quality of their offerings is the ISO wash laundry service. This basically means that their machines don’t get in contact with traditional detergents – best for sensitive clients who prefer non-allergenic detergents.
However, the per-pound pricing is slightly more expensive than the competition at $2.38. Meanwhile, the ISO wash laundry service starts at $2.55… so you may want to think about the weight of your wash load first.
As a final touch, this shop is the only one we’ve encountered with a dedicated mobile app for its pick-up and delivery service. Innovative, yes – but the app did have serious issues in the past that are currently undergoing improvement, thank goodness.

First things first, as we mentioned, the shop is a coin laundromat so it’s great for one-time washloads. Their machines can also handle a wide range of clothing from basic tees to the thickest of comforters.
In addition to this, the shop is also capable of dealing with leather and suede items. So far, we’ve heard nice things about this particular service, although we can’t hold it as among the best for leather goods (not that it’s bad – we just find other shops more satisfactory).
For convenience, the shop also offers pick-up and delivery services for wash and fold laundry. What’s notable about this is that their delivery times are fast and clients can generally expect their clothes as soon as the next day.
