After surveying all branches, we found that the ones at Scarborough South and York Mills provide the most choices at affordable rates, ranging from $175 to $235 per month.

They predominantly offer uncovered parking outdoors with oversized options, but smaller RVs like camper vans and small trailers can snugly fit into climate-controlled drive-up storage units as big as 13’ x 30’. Regardless of indoor or outdoor parking, their facilities boast a comprehensive suite of security features, including door alarms, gated perimeters, a 24/7 monitoring system, and on-site staff.

Their unique indoor drive-through configuration sets them apart, featuring two spacious driveways capable of accommodating moving trucks for convenient access. This design addresses common weather-related challenges, such as rain and snow, when packing, transporting, and moving items for storage.

Indoor units can reach sizes of up to 400 square feet, allowing for the storage of smaller RVs despite the limited ceiling height. These units still benefit from the facility’s covered drive-thru feature. Larger RVs, however, can be parked in regular (8’x16′) and large (8’x32′) outdoor slots. Additionally, the facilities are equipped with CCTV cameras, security features, and intercoms, facilitating easy communication with staff members both inside and outside the building.

Apple Self Storage was established in 1999 when brothers Jeff, Phil, and Scott Allan acquired their first storage facility in Aurora after a successful foray into the tech industry. While it’s been less than two years since the Leaside branch opened its doors, it has already amassed a substantial following. This is attributed to its prime location and industry-standard features, such as covered docks, ample ceiling heights, automated systems, and incredibly helpful staff.

While they’re limited to outdoor units, the parking lot is impeccably maintained with evenly paved and elevated surfaces, with efficient drainage, and devoid of potholes. Similar attention to detail is evident in the spacious parking slots and circulation paths, which are well-lit during nighttime hours and protected by round-the-clock surveillance and secure gates.
