How We Chose the Best Halal Restaurants in Mississauga

How much does dining at a halal restaurant cost in Mississauga?

In Mississauga, a meal for two people in a mid-range halal restaurant would cost around $80. This may be higher or lower, depending on the type of restaurant and the size of their portions.

Quality and Flavour: We chose halal restaurants that serve delicious halal offerings. After all, a great dining experience depends on how delicious the dishes are.
Menu Variety: We picked halal restaurants that offer a diverse menu, ranging from traditional dishes to contemporary adaptations.
Service: We looked at the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and their knowledge about the menu in each halal restaurant.
Cleanliness: We chose halal restaurants that maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Dining Atmosphere: We chose halal restaurants that have a pleasant ambiance, whether providing a casual or family-friendly vibe or a more upscale atmosphere.
Value for Money: We assessed halal restaurants that offer value for money. Whether it’s an affordable family eatery or a high-end fine dining establishment, the pricing should be reasonable for the experience you receive.

Amazing customer service and food

“As soon as we walked into this place we were happy. The seating is spaced out and we easily found a table. Our orders were taken quickly and made promptly. The food was hot and cooked well. At the end of the meal, we were offered complimentary green tea which really finished everything off nicely. The customer service and the food was amazing. Hope to go back soon!”

Delicious food, generous portions, and calming ambiance

“The most delicious Naan that I had in Canada. Beef tikka is a must try. Lamb chop is delicious and go for it if you want to eat with hands as it has  bones and you don’t want to miss any piece. The food comes with a very generous portion of salad. Garlic sauce is fantastic and they are very generous in giving many if you ask. It is very busy during 6-7 in a Friday evening so go ahead and order early of you are hungry. It might take time . Their take out is very very successful. Order 1 for 2 person if you like to have rice. Order 2 foods if you want to take with bread. The rice has a fantastic spice and aroma. Ambience and music is calming.”

“It is one of those places where the food touches your soul. It is our go to place for comfort food. It’s great for big groups and families. All it’s food is great we usually eat the nihari because that’s their speciality, the Bihari kebabs and a version of roti. Highly recommend the puri parantha and special mention to the Hakeem. The Dhaga kebab is a spicy version and it is spicy. The service is quick and efficient and extremely polite. A 15% gratuity is applied to all tables of 5 and above. Also they stay open late so if you are hungry or look king h for options, this place is great. Recommended dishes: Tikka, Maghaz Nihari”

Perfect nihari, spacious restaurant, and attentive staff

“Hands down, this is if not the best, one of the best Nihari spots in the GTA. Visited on a Thursday night. The restaurant is very spacious. There was a 140 person party going on at the front (for those interested in hosting a party, it was a great space and there was a great set up to have segregation as men were on one side of the restaurant and women were on the other). Even with the party happening, there was good space for regular patrons, and the service was not compromised at all. The Nihari was perfect. Customer service is A1. You are always attended to and even if an employee is just walking by, they’ll ask if everything is okay or if anything else is needed. Can’t wait to go back here and try their Karahi’s as I’ve heard that’s great too!”

Delicious food and excellent service

“Nice Pakistani place. Do try. The food was delicious. We had the beef seekh and lamb curry and both items were pretty flavourful. Even their kadak chai had plenty of spices and a good flavour. The ambiance is nice. Better than most Indian /Pakistani places. Service was also excellent and quick. Gurtej was our server and she was very helpful. They say they make fresh food and so it will take some time, but we didn’t feel that the time was that much. Overall, do recommend. Parking: Big parking space in front of this strip mall. Food: 5/5  |  Service: 5/5  |  Atmosphere: 5/5”

Personalized and empathetic service

“All star restaurant. Our server Amrita was super nice and attentive. Personalized and empathetic service. Food is exceptionally good. We ordered special chicken karahi, chicken and beef kabab, and daal makhni. Everything was great but karahi was a show stealer. And cherry on top, they have Lahori tandoori roti, not naan but tandoori pateri roti. What an awesome experience.”

Although, first wasn’t that great but this time around customer service and quantity drastically changed. I am so glad that I chose to come back and give it another shot. Sidharth made sure that my order was made perfectly. His positive attitude  changed my opinion about this place. and there was another guy too. Good job! Delicious food and courteous staff

“Pictures are for chicken pakora, chili chicken, Dragon chicken and green tea (taken after eating because it was delicious). Service was quick. During Ramadan, it’s tough to get prompt service but the staff found seating for two right away. Service was courteous. Water and menus provided right away. Provided detailed information on menu items. Food was brought quickly. About 15 mins for it to be brought after ordering. Food quality, taste and texture was perfect. Chicken pakoras were lightly battered but flavorful. Chili chicken was different. Typically made with a black bean sauce, the one from here almost simulated a hot and sour soup flavor with spice. Dragon chicken was the best dish. Lightly crisped and full of sweet and sour flavors. Green tea was flavorful. Typical taste. No complaints. Highly recommended to come again.”

Amazing food and quality with huge portions

“Amazing food and quality! I’ve been coming here for years, and the only thing that changed is the price, which is reasonable considering the market today. The decoration is much better than before and improves everytime. I ordered Chicken Corn Soup, Manchurian Rice and Dragon Shrimp. The portions were huge! Loved the taste. Only thing I would improve is the service and the tables, as the ones near the cashier have just been jammed together which makes it hard to move things around because of the bump. The bathrooms could also be improved, as the smaller one is  too cramped with no hooks to hang jackets, and the bidet is quite hard to use in the larger one. As for the service, when asked for extra napkins they gave just one when we had three people. I would also appreciate the check being brought to the tables instead of having to go to the cashier to pay each time. Other than that, I will definitely be coming here again!”
