1. Rebel

ADDRESS11 Polson St First Floor, Toronto, ON M5A 1A4

(416) 469-5655

Rebel is one of Toronto’s most hopping nightclubs. We’re stoked about their Vegas-inspired design, reminiscent of top-tier clubs.

The main room boasts a spacious dance floor and multiple booths, with bars lining the perimeter, playing a mix of top 40 and EDM tunes.

We also enjoyed the lounge-style Purple Room, offering a hip-hop and trap vibe. Upstairs, the VIP terrace and Noir room provide a more exclusive house.

Watch out for their cool light shows or other performances every night, in case you’re after something more than just your usual club visit.

The club caters to a diverse crowd, from university students to young professionals, and occasionally hosts impressive shows and light displays.

Bottle prices are reasonable, ranging from $300 to $500, with high-end options available. Plus, their commitment to accessibility ensures everyone can enjoy the party.

Note, however, that the venue tends to become overcrowded at times.

Phenomenal sound and lighting

“Went for the first time for the deadmau5 concert. It was amazing! Phenomenal sound and lighting. The show was sold out so it was packed but the crowd was full of nice people. Deadmau5 played until 5am and it got less crowded later on which was nice.”

2. Velvet Underground

Velvet Underground
ADDRESS508 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2B3

(647) 351-9001

OPERATING HOURS Mon, Thurs - Sun: 10 PM - 3 AM

The Velvet Underground, revamped in 2016, is now a hot spot for live music and DJs downtown. We dig their edgy vibe, complete with metal sculptures.

We also noticed that their bartenders are attentive, making sure you’re never left waiting long for your favorite drink. Speaking of drinks, they’re reasonably priced, with plenty of options to choose from to keep the party going all night long.

The retro 80’s music nights are a blast, and the sound quality rocks for a smaller venue.

Tickets are easy to snag online, making it easy to plan your night out in advance.

Just watch out for the layout. The sloped floors and low stage can be a bummer if you’re stuck behind a crowd – you might not see anything.

Plus, be prepared for their overly tight security measures at the door.

  • 8 years of experience
  • Attentive bartenders
  • Reasonably priced drinks
  • Retro 80’s music nights
  • Good sound quality
  • Easy to book tickets online

  • Layout issues
  • Overly tight security measures

What a beautiful space. Good vibes.

“What a beautiful space. Good vibes. SAFE! Very fair pricing. Honestly had an incredible experience there tonight. One for the books 🙂 Check it out! They’ve got a good thing going. Queen West is always full of art & culture and they help that happen 🩷🎶🎸”

Friendly staff, great venue for small intimate concerts

“Friendly staff, great venue for small intimate concerts. The drinks prices are understandably a little high, but more reasonable compared to other venues I’ve gone to. Saw Joey Pecoraro here tonight in concert and I had a wonderful time. Would definitely come here again for another concert. It’s pretty easy to find and parking in the area was conveniently located too.”

Clubbing experience: Really fun place to be

“Clubbing experience: Really fun place to be, staff were amazing and attentive. Really good Pat down at the front, security walked around consistently. Music was decent. Bathrooms were clean. Note: I did not pay for drinks so I cannot comment on the quality or price. Also I noticed people complaining about lighters. It’s totally understandable they would take it for Safety reasons and they did give back my lighter when I asked at the end of the night.”

The vibe is off the hook!

“I love this place! The vibe is off the hook! Everywhere you look you’ll see a friend, starting with the security to tickets to coatcheck to the bar to the dj and the rose guy who helps men become sweethearts. Check for the salsa nights because the couples tear up the floor, it’s a pleasure to watch! The DJ always played my request – how cool is that! Thank you! And catch at least one show to the queens on a Saturday. If you want an incredible memorable night, this is the place! Come early for the best parking spots but don’t sit on the bikes out front please while you’re having a smoke. Muchisimas gracias El Convento Rico! Ustedes estan siempre en mi corazon!!!”

44 Toronto offers an awesome nightclub vibe that rivals Miami and Las Vegas hotspots. Nestled across two floors, this luxurious venue draws in local celebrities like Drake to NBA players, and other high-profile figures seeking a taste of Canadian nightlife.

Unlike larger venues, we think 44 Toronto’s dance floor cultivates intimacy, allowing guests to feel closer to the DJ and fully immersed in the music.

We also love their music selection – Fridays and Saturdays offer a mix of top 40 hits and house beats. On Sundays, the vibe shifts to hip-hop.

While the quality of the experience is undeniable, it comes at a price. Cover charges can exceed $40, depending on the featured DJ.

Great club with a good atmosphere

“Great club with a good atmosphere. Staff are pleasant to deal with and are happy to be at your service.! On a Sunday you wouldn’t think anywhere would be poppin but 44 proves you wrong. Definitely the spot to be when your in DT Toronto. Make sure to book a table though to breeze through entry line and the extensive security process. One thing I must add is that the security process at this club is like no other in the Gta and you can tell with the procedures they have in place their main goal is to ensure all us guests have a safe and fun nightlife experience. 5/5 coming again 100%.”

The best after hours place in the city

“The best after hours place in the city. As a group of friends we have always amazing time! You will see from the photos how crowded we are each time which is almost every weekend :)) Special thanks to Ali who is always doing his best at the door.”

Top after hours place for sure!

“Top after hours place for sure! The staff are AMAZING. Seriously. As a female I can go there alone if I wanted and I know that any of the security would be there to help in any kind of situation. It can get packed depending on the event and I’ll never forget one of the security coming up to me and telling me to not leave my phone in my back pocket just in case. Another time another security gave me a water because I had lost my money and couldn’t buy one. This is what makes going out so much more enjoyable when you can feel safe. Every time I go even if it’s been awhile I’m greeted with a friendly smile! Oh yeah, they have a free coffee bar by the coat check. Just saying :)”

Barcode Saturdays is like the OG of Toronto nightlife, brought to life by Life Media Group back in 2014 and still rocking the scene today. The nightclub oozes luxury vibes– spacious digs, fancy décor, and top-notch drinks.

It’s not just regular folks hitting up this spot – you’ll rub shoulders with celebs, athletes, socialites, and influencers, including big names like Machine Gun Kelly.

When Saturday rolls around, the nightclub transforms into a Vegas-style party paradise.

The Platinum bottle service is where it’s at for the ultimate baller experience. Starting from $1500, you get the works: premium bottles, tasty pizzas, all the mixers you could want, and a VIP booth for you and your crew.

Sadly, we heard that some of their bouncers were disrespectful to patrons.
