Last year, one of my best friends became a mother and had the most roller coaster ride of a pregnancy I’ve ever seen. It started out fine and manageable, but towards the end, she was constantly uncomfortable and in pain.
Her husband tried everything, from buying maternity belts to giving her all the magnesium-rich food he could find. But nothing really helped until she found a massage therapist.
From the moment she had her first session, she said she felt immediate relief, so she kept going until she gave birth. And ever since then, she’s had a list of the most trusted prenatal massage services in Toronto to share for those with a family on the way.
How much do prenatal massage services cost in Toronto?
In Toronto, prenatal massage services typically cost around $80 to $200 per session. The final rate will depend on the experience of your chosen masseuse and the length of your appointment.

Kāer has been featured on channels like The Huffington Post, CBC News, and Today’s Parents as a women-centric facility run by women. They’ve been providing support across every life stage, from fertility to menopause, since 2012.
We believe that they’re one of the best places to go to for new mothers, thanks to their Prenatal Pathway program. This creates a roadmap of helpful services starting from the first trimester and will guide you through the other two.
Early on, they’ll recommend prenatal yoga and then ease you into prenatal massages as your belly swells. These will be done in a side-lying position, with lots of soft props to ensure your comfort and safety.
Their knowledgeable experts are great at listening and pinpointing which areas hurt. As a result, many customers share that they slept much better afterwards.
The only thing to watch out for is that the admin occasionally has scheduling mix-ups, which can confuse clients.
I felt light as a feather after my session
“I booked a prenatal massage last minute online with Sandra and was so glad I did! At 13 weeks pregnant I am starting to feel all those kinks and pains all over my back and neck and felt light as a feather after the my session. I highly recommend! We chatted for a bit and Sandra provided me with some great info and advice which I really appreciated!”

They know exactly what parts of my back and neck are troubling me
“I started going to Yoga Mamas during my pregnancy and also did scar release therapy after my c-section. The reason I keep going back long after this prenatal and postpartum period is because of amazing employees like Marion. She is such an amazing Massage Therapist!! She knows exactly what parts of my back and neck are troubling me without having to ask. She is a wealth of knowledge, she immediately makes you feel at ease and supported.”

2. Nest Yoga + Massage Therapy

Address: Bloor West Village, 212, 2186 Bloor St W, Upper Level
Phone: +1 647 348 6378
Business Hours: Monday to Sunday – 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM
For more than 5 years, Nest Yoga + Massage Therapy has been offering a wide-range of holistic therapies that are designed to restore the balance between your mind and your body. Their most popular services include acupuncture and lymphatic drainage.
A huge reason why people keep coming back to them is that their treatments are highly customized. For every session, they’ll listen and adapt their techniques to address your concerns.
When it comes to prenatal massages, they relieve tension and enhance relaxation by improving blood circulation. This reduces swelling as a side effect, too.
We like that they give clients cost-effective options by having a variety of appointment durations. If you need something budget-friendly, you can go for their 30-minute package, or opt for the 90-minute one if you’re sore all over.
However, the rooms where they conduct their massages are quite small, to the point of being uncomfortable for some people.
I just had a prenatal massage with them, and it was absolutely amazing
“I’ve had several sessions with Mayooran before my pregnancy, and he has always been incredible. I just had a prenatal massage with him, and it was absolutely amazing. He knows exactly what to do to relieve tension. Highly recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled and thoughtful therapist!”

The messages have left me feeling great and relaxed
“Have been a patient of Mayooran’s for over three years, he is a fantastic RMT. A great and caring practitioner, very thorough in addressing ones needs and has helped me overcome some chronic upper and lower back discomforts. Greatly recommend Mayooran to family and friends as he is diligent and the Swedish, deep tissue and pregnancy massages have left me feeling great and relaxed. Also, Nest is a great clinic and has some of the best service pricing in the Bloor West Village.”

Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday to Sunday – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
City Wellness is committed to treating illnesses and injuries with multidisciplinary practices, like acupuncture and physiotherapy. Their goal is to restore their clients’ quality of living.
For pregnancy, they aim to address the bodily discomforts and emotional stress that come with it. We appreciate that they offer two kinds of massages, Swedish and Thai, for different purposes, depending on what the mothers are feeling.
Swedish is focused more on relaxation, with flowing strokes and deep pressure therapy. Not only is it physically helpful, but it also helps the mental well-being of pregnant women by lowering stress and anxiety.
On the other hand, Thai massages are invigorating and promote mobility. It involves more stretching and movement to ease pain and improve the clients’ range of motion.
A word of advice, though: avoid missing your appointments at this place. There have been complaints about how hard it is to cancel or reschedule with them.
The massages have been nothing short of amazing
“I’ve had a few different massages at City Wellness (all with Amanda) which have been nothing short of amazing. I had a prenatal which was great (sometimes these are uncomfortable) and more recently discovered their Thai massage which left me feeling reinvigorated. The staff are very pleasant and I always look forward to my massages with Amanda.”

I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant, and they melted away most of my tension
“Amanda is the absolute best masseuse I have ever worked with! I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant and she melted away most of my tension and back/shoulder pain in just 2 sessions. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a phenomenal massage – no matter what your areas of concern area she will address them attentively and you will get off that massage table feeling better than ever. I’m not nearly in as much pain as I was before I met her but I already can’t wait until my next session. Additionally – for Chiro – highly recommend Rosa. She is great at what she does and goes the extra mile to make sure your needs are taken care of. Professional, effective, and incredibly good at what she does.”

You can trust that with their experienced therapists, you’ll be in good hands. After treating thousands of expecting clients, they know exactly what areas to target to lessen heaviness and promote better rest.
We were impressed to learn just how thoughtful their facilities are. The pregnancy-specific equipment is especially comfortable and regularly earns praise from previous customers.
Unfortunately, one hiccup that you might encounter with them is issues with direct billing. Although they say they accept it, some customers were told to pay upfront instead.
I don’t know how I could have made it through the last month without them
“Carolina is my “go-to” essential therapist and I relied on her amazing techniques and skills throughout the duration of my back to back pregnancies. Her Pre-natal techniques helped soothe and relieve my aching muscles and joints especially during the last trimester, when I was at my heaviest. She helped tremendously with my mobility and I don’t know how I could have made it through the last month without her! She is still my girl and I can’t go to anyone else but her!”

Every session feels personalized, and you can tell they know what they’re doing
“I’ve tried a lot of massage therapists, but this place has the best massage therapists in the city. One of the game-changers for me was discovering their face-down pregnancy massage option—something I didn’t even know was possible! It made such a difference while I was pregnant, and it was exactly what I needed for relief and comfort. Every session feels personalized, and you can really tell they know what they’re doing. The atmosphere is always calm and welcoming, and I leave feeling so much better every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!”

“I can’t recommend Oona enough during pregnancy! I am coming into 30 weeks and feel better than I did at 15 weeks – I have less aches, I am more active and find that the team provide really useful resources, tools and strategies beyond the treatments. I have had regular sessions with pelvic floor physio (Alison) and chiropractor (Dahrani), as well as attended prenatal pilates and some prenatal clasess. Fabulous, easy to schedule services”

Whatever I needed, they were there for me
“I cannot recommend Oona enough for their incredible offerings and support during my prenatal and postpartum experiences. Whatever I needed, they were there for me! I was able to ask my family and friends for gift cards to Oona for my shower gift with my second son and it was an absolute treasure to have that available to Pelvic physio, massage and even infant massage! Highly recommend and trust their knowledgeable team! Thanks for everything!”
