We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Types of Classes: We looked for studios that offered a variety of yoga classes for different goals and purposes, including beginner lessons, advanced workshops, and variations like Hot Yoga and Flow Yoga.

Studio Experience: We considered their facilities, equipment, and atmosphere to see if they prioritized comfort and cleanliness for their clients.

Customer Care: We chose businesses that are known for treating customers with professionalism and respect.

Testimonials: We consulted previous clients and went through testimonials to see if they were ultimately satisfied with these studios.

Years ago, I went to my first-ever yoga class and vowed never to come back right after it was done. The place I went to didn’t feel all that welcoming, and I constantly lagged behind the other students who seemed to be much more experienced than I was.

It’s only recently that I decided to try again, since my friends wouldn’t stop talking about how life-changing it is. They keep telling me that my first impression isn’t really common, which gave me some hope.

But this time around, I made sure to ask for suggestions on where to go. That’s why I made this list containing all the most trusted and recommended yoga studios in Toronto that’ll make you feel at home.

How much does going to a yoga studio cost in Toronto?

In Toronto, going to a yoga studio costs around $25 to $150 per session. The final rate will depend on the facility’s popularity, its amenities, the type of class you choose, and the length of your chosen course.

It’s hard not to be relaxed the moment you enter Good Space. This yoga and pilates studio is located in a light-filled and airy industrial-style venue that’s perfect for making people feel grounded.

They offer two types of yoga sessions, depending on what you wish to achieve. The Move category is a bit challenging and fast-paced, while Ease is more meditative.

Either way, you can depend on the instructors to be kind and attentive. They’ll provide modifications for poses that may be a bit too hard for students.

And if you’re not convinced to get a membership yet, we recommend going for their handy Intro Pass. It’ll give you access to an unlimited number of classes for 3 weeks.

Just make sure you arrive earlier than your scheduled slot. They lock doors as soon as they start, meaning that no one can enter after, even if they’re only 5 minutes late.

Pros

  • Light-filled and airy industrial-style venue
  • Offers two types of yoga sessions
  • Kind and attentive instructors
  • Has an Intro Pass for non-members

Cons

  • Doesn’t accept latecomers

So inviting, and the classes are accessible but still challenging

“Starting the new year right at Good Space! Incredible instructors, great variety of classes (yoga, pilates, groove), and a super clean, aesthetic space. Good Space is so inviting, and the classes are accessible but still challenging, my abs are sore in the best way! I’m looking forward to getting stronger this year through my membership here!

There is a real sense of family at this yoga studio

“This space has a pretty magical energy the second you walk in. They offer a great range of classes, from intense flows to restorative stretches – I leave every class buzzing. All of the teachers add their unique flare to each class, I definitely recommend trying out as many as you can to then decide who’s class vibes with you best. There is a real sense of family at this yoga studio, I feel as though its a home away from home. As well, I love that they host a bunch of different workshops, expanding accessibility and knowledge of wellness to the community.”

Besides keeping you fit, the offerings at OHA Wellness are mainly designed to reduce stress, anxiety, and tension. Their goal is to improve both your physical and mental health.

They have a variety of yoga classes to choose from, covering all experience levels. And based on what we’ve heard, the teachers go out of their way to ensure that beginners feel welcome and are given personalized adjustments if needed.

What’s cool is that they offer slots throughout the day so that you can join in whenever you’re free. In the morning, classes are held in a bright sunny room, and at night, the facilities are beautifully lit with LED candles.

Our favorite part is that each session is capped with a maximum of 14 students. This is so distractions are minimized, making it more peaceful and immersive for everyone.

Sadly, their studio isn’t a scent-free space, which could be triggering for those with allergies.

Pros

  • Ideal for reducing stress, anxiety, and tension
  • Has a variety of yoga classes for all levels
  • Accommodating teachers
  • Offers sessions throughout the day
  • Keeps classes small

Cons

  • Not a scent-free space

A cozy, heart-centered studio

“OHA Wellness is such a warm, grounding space – the kind you walk into and instantly feel at ease. The candlelight classes are especially magical, with their soft glow and calming energy. I have been to over 30 classes led by Amanda, Romika and Virginie who are incredible teachers. Each brings their own beautiful presence, but they all share a gift for creating a supportive, mindful, and deeply nourishing practice. If you’re looking for a cozy, heart-centered studio to move, breathe, and reconnect, OHA is it. Highly recommend.”

The vibe at this studio is so calm and grounded

“Amazing!! The vibe at this studio is so calm and grounded. Instructors are knowledgeable and give good modifications when needed. I like that class sizes are small, sometimes studios are so packed with people it is difficult to really feel present in the moment. I have done classes with instructors Monica and Amanda and both are wonderful. I am new to OHA Wellness, but so far, I am really enjoying this studio. Classic yoga without trying to make it everything else like some other places.”

Address: 225 Sterling Rd, Unit 23

Phone: +1 416 901 4543

Business Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Saturday – 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Sunday – 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Website

Mosaic Yoga was established a decade ago to be a movement community that’s open to all. The welcoming and supportive atmosphere is a huge reason why customers keep coming back.

This vibe extends to their classes, which they have so many of. The most important ones, though, would be the Beginners, Essentials, and Intermediate courses.

Choosing which to go with really depends on how well you know the fundamentals of yoga. Regardless, we can guarantee that the instructors switch it up each week by varying the sequences to keep it exciting.

Outside of those lesson types, they also have specific sessions that incorporate props like ropes and pilates balls. These target different areas of the body, which is useful for those who want to get more toned.

But just a heads up: this facility occasionally overbooks classes, making them feel quite cramped.

Pros

  • Welcoming and supportive atmosphere
  • Offers a variety of classes
  • Switches up the sequences each week
  • Incorporates props

Cons

  • Occasionally overbooks sessions

My experience with Mosaic has been nothing short of incredible

“What a great space and staff to work with. Have attended multiple classes and booked spaces to use for my own company. The rooms have great size and tons of natural light for work and rehearsal. The staff and ownership are so accommodating and generous, the whole booking process was a breeze and my experience with Mosaic has been nothing short of incredible. Highly recommended for your own personal growth and a great space to rent out.”

The whole studio is bright and warm and so homey and cozy

“Had the absolute best best time! This place has some of the best classes I’ve taken so far. I took their rope yoga class today and the instructor was very very kind and thorough as well as correcting any mistakes students were making very gently. The class was fun challenging and different with interesting poses in the first class only! The staff was all really lovely and they have a nice tea/ water section at the back. The whole studio is bright and warm and so homey and cozy!”

4. Vibe Ten Studio & Yoga School

vibe-ten-studio-yoga-school-logo

Address: 2526 Yonge St

Business Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM
  • Saturday – 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
  • Sunday – 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Website

Vibe Ten Studio is for those who want to learn more about traditional yoga. Their practices are primarily focused on discipline, mindfulness, and soulfulness.

They offer several types of sessions, such as their signature breathwork class, as well as other Vinyasa, Yin, and Hatha-centered workshops. All of these are done in candlelit, mirrorless rooms to create a more intentional and immersive experience.

We think the best ones are their Karma classes, which are held for free. These are taught by newer instructors and are a way to make yoga more accessible for everyone.

Luckily, drop-ins are allowed for all sessions as long as there’s space. This actually might be the way to go, since booking a slot can be complicated — their website needs a ton of details, including photos and your billing info, just to check schedule availability.

Pros

  • Focused on traditional yoga
  • Offers a variety of classes
  • Has free sessions
  • Allows drop-ins

Cons

  • Online booking process is complicated

Hands down, my favorite yoga studio

“This is hands down my favorite yoga studio. The class variety and quality of teaching are outstanding, and every level feels supported. I especially recommend classes with Aliza and Tina, who guide with exceptional professionalism and care. Jen, the owner, is incredibly warm and continuously investing in the studio by bringing in great teachers, hosting workshops, and offering a sauna and cold plunge, making this a complete wellness experience. Definitely the best studio in the neighbourhood!!”

Coming here is always fun

“When I had to leave my previous yoga studio, I never thought I d be able to find another great space to practice yoga. But here in Vibe Ten Jen had created a warm community for us to practice together. While most of the classes are heated there are couple of great non heated classes. Alisa’s hatha yoga classes are the best hatha classes I have ever attended. She is a brilliant instructor and I wish I can practice with her everyday. Coming here is always fun…I met whole bunch of loveliest people at Vibe Ten.”

5. Seven – Hot Yoga and HIIT Pilates

Address: 1669 Bayview Ave

Phone: +1 437 833 6782

Business Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 5:45 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Saturday – 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Sunday – 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM

Website

Seven has become known as one of the best hot yoga studios in the city. With an intensely heated room and upbeat sequences, clients say that they feel refreshed and notice glowing skin right after attending a session.

Apart from this, people also love their Power workshops, which are upbeat and energetic, as well as the Flow courses for releasing tension.

We like that they offer an energy exchange program as well, where you can assist the staff with manning the desk and cleaning up to get yoga sessions in return.

But if you’re not into that, they have flexible membership plans to look into. Their most popular package is the Luxe 7, which includes unlimited classes per month, a guest pass, and discounts for their merchandise.

Maybe just save all your inquiries for when you get there in person. Unfortunately, they can be a bit hard to reach over the phone and via email from time to time.

Pros

  • Ideal for hot yoga
  • Offers a variety of classes
  • Has an energy exchange program
  • Flexible membership plans

Cons

  • Hard to reach over the phone and via email

My experience so far is excellent

“I’ve just started at this studio but my experience so far was excellent. The online system is easy to navigate when it comes to buying passes and booking classes. The location is quite nice- the people who work there were very welcoming, and the studio is really clean (a must, especially for hot yoga). The instructor was encouraging and also helped people in ensuring correct positions, etc. Overall really enjoyed my first class, and it looks like there’s a nice diversity of classes as well to choose from.”

Can’t get enough of the community and variety of classes they have to offer

“This is such a great studio! I have been attending Seven Hot Yoga and HIIT Pilates for 3 months now and can’t get enough of the community and variety of classes they have to offer. I LOVE the added heat component, my skin is always glowing and my mood is always lifted when I leave the studio. I appreciate the efforts and talents of both the teachers and management for curating experiences that go above and beyond my fitness needs. They have something for everyone, and continue to work on new ways to incorporate suggestions, reviews, and community feedback. Great job to Kevin, Natasha, and the whole team at Seven!!”
