Jesicca Alba, Hailey Bieber, Meghan Markle—what do these celebs have in common? Aside from being objectively hot, they’re all into hot yoga.
Yep, who knew that being crammed in a hot room filled with sweaty strangers would be all the rage in our fair city, but here we are.
True, I was skeptical at first, but when I tried it, it was actually kind of amazing!
It’s not just about sweating either (although this really made my skin glow TBH), but it’s also about releasing all the stress and negative emotions you never knew you were holding onto. Physical and mental benefits all rolled into one? Count me in.
So, for those who want to turn up the heat—literally—here is the cream of the crop in Toronto’s hot yoga scene.
How much do hot yoga sessions cost in Toronto?
In general, hot yoga drop-in classes in Toronto would set you back $30 to $35. 10-class packs may range from $250 to $280, while unlimited monthly memberships would be around $180 to $200.
Keep in mind that most studios offer new member introductory deals.
1. Seven Yoga

Seven Yoga is known as the one and only infrared studio in Leaside. Their goal is to help you consciously align your thoughts with your words and behaviors.
If you like Hatha yoga sequencing, then you’d enjoy their Hot Yoga 60 class. This session—which is an hour long—helps improve your balance, as well as your spine.
For music lovers, we recommend their Hot Power Vinyasa Jam Class, which is set to popular beats from start to finish. It’s also open to all levels.
In addition to yoga classes, they also offer Hot HIIT Pilates and even sound baths to help manage anxiety.
We love their hotel-like lounge where you can relax after a hot yoga sesh—complete with infused waters, teas, and even free WiFi. And with free mats with setups and mat reservations, who can ask for more?
While amenity-wise, they seem it have it all, don’t expect them to respond promptly to your online queries.
Seven Yoga is amazing!
“Seven Yoga is amazing! Tried their Hot Yoga and Hot HIIT Pilates classes and I could not be more impressed. The instructors are great, the studio is very clean and such a perfect space overall.”

Hot yoga class was the perfect temperature
“If you’re considering trying yoga for the first time, I highly recommend this place! This was my first-ever yoga class, and the experience was fantastic. The facility is spotless, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive. Our instructor, Alex, was amazing—he had a great sense of the room and offered help when I struggled with certain poses. The hot yoga class was the perfect temperature, you’ll definitely work up a great sweat! Give it a try; you won’t regret it!”

2. Modo Yoga

For over 20 years, Modo Yoga has been chilling in Toronto’s Greektown area, and they show no signs of stopping anytime soon.
Hurry and sign up for their signature Modo hot yoga class, since we heard this one fills up fast. Here, you’ll do 40 postures (30 to 45 seconds for each pose) at 37-39°C.
If you’re up for a challenge, try their Modo Flow class, which follows the flow of Vinyasa-style yoga.
Now, imagine yourself doing hot yoga in an exotic place like Panama or Botswana—that could actually become a reality if you participate in one of their awesome yoga retreats.
Another unique perk is their registered massage therapy service. Nothing beats a soothing and well-deserved massage after a tough workout.
Sure, you might encounter a rude attendant or two, but with your newfound inner peace, we think (and hope!) you can handle anything.
Excellent roster of yogis to lead you
“Modo Yoga, on Danforth, has an excellent roster of yogis to lead you through your practice. I have been going there for years and am always impressed with the professionalism and dedication of their staff, and the quality of the workout. This is a hot yoga class. If you want to take your yoga moves a little deeper, the heat really helps.”

My first yoga experience ever and I loved it!
“This studio is great! It was my first yoga experience ever and I loved it! The moment you walk in you instantly feel more relaxed. I just finished my intro month and it was everything I needed. The instructors are awesome and they really make sure you get the most out of each class. I will definitely be coming back!”

3. Beaches Hot Yoga

Since 2002, Beaches Hot Yoga has been helping locals build their strength, flexibility, and endurance through the awesome powers of hot yoga.
Their “easier” Hot Yoga class—geared towards beginners—will have you doing 26 postures coupled with two types of breathing exercises. But if you think your core can handle it, join their Hot Yoga Fusion class—a mix of Hatha, Yin, and Pilates.
Sadly, not all of their instructors are as friendly as we’d like. But, aesthetic-wise, there’s no better place to sweat than in their spacious studio, filled with natural light flooding in from the skylights.
They even set up a commercial-grade air exchange system, as well as anti-bacterial, fungal, and slip flooring.
Now, if you feel like stepping it up, we recommend joining one of their tropical yoga retreats, where you can find your zen in gorgeous settings like Mexico and Kenya!

Has truly been a lifesaver for me over the years
“Beaches Hot Yoga (BHY) has truly been a lifesaver for me over the years! The positive impact it has had on my joints, especially my knees, and overall flexibility is beyond what I could have hoped for. Dana and the entire team go above and beyond to make every class a welcoming and supportive experience, always putting people first. The atmosphere is HOT 🔥, and the instructors are not only skilled but genuinely caring. I’m so grateful for this incredible community—thank you, BHY!”

4. BeHot Yoga

BeHot Yoga is owned by Paul McQuillan, who wrote a top-selling book with a funny title: “I Hate Yoga.”
OHY or Original Hot Yoga is their most popular class, which follows the Bikram yoga style. And unlike other studios that only come up to 38° or 39°C, this one is at a whopping 40°C!
Another must-try is their Vinyasa Hot Yoga, which is set at a slightly more bearable temp of 30° to 35°C.
We like that they have a cozy lobby to hang out in. You can sip coconut water while hanging out with your “classmates,” or shop for yoga gear at their onsite clothing store.
Unfortunately, the actual hot yoga space you’d be in is a bit cramped. So, if you’re not quite ready yet to commit to a long-term membership, grab their special introductory offer—five classes for only $75.
Hot yoga classes here are by far the best
“Having tried almost all the hot yoga studios downtown, the classes here are by far the best. Instructor Carmelina is absolutely amazing!’

Very best yoga studio in Toronto!
“The very best yoga studio in Toronto! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The efforts made by the owner and staff at this studio throughout the pandemic (including the video library and online classes) have been truly amazing. It is extremely reassuring to know, based on clear messaging and wise decisions, that the health and wellbeing of the BeHot community is a top priority and we can all enjoy a safe return to in-person classes soon :)”

5. Pure Yoga Toronto

Pure Yoga is a studio that offers classes that are—you guessed it!—purely yoga. So, don’t expect Pilates or HIIT sessions here.
Their mission is to help you be more in tune with the world, both mentally and physically.
A not-so-intense class is their Flow Hot Yoga class, where you’ll be guided to do various poses curated to improve your strength and balance.
Up for something more challenging? Then, try their Core Hot Yoga, which targets your core via advanced postures and functional training.
You don’t need to bring your own mat or towels either since you can conveniently rent them onsite. Various drinks (e.g. Flow Water, BioStell, etc.) and water bottles are sold as well.
On the downside, some customer have told us that their receptionist can be rude at times. But you know what they say—kill with kindness, right?
Has been a refuge for mental and physical well-being
“This place has been a refuge for mental and physical well-being. There is a good mix of classes that are challenging and energizing with music, instructors who give clear directions on positions, and creative transitions between poses. The atmosphere is nonjudgmental and encouraging. My favorite instructors are Nicole, Danielle and Brandon and I emerge after every class from sweat with hope. Tristan the studio manager is incredibly kind and helpful. The studio is equipped with showers and soap. Overall the unlimited membership offers great ROI and value for the benefits I get in return.”

Studio is beautiful and prices are reasonable
“We rated this studio 5 pineapples out of 5 because the team is funny and vivacious, and the sweaty hot yoga class was challenging, fun, and pushed us in ways only a yoga class can – we did 108 pushups throughout the class. SAY WHAT?! Location is awesome in Liberty Village, the studio is beautiful and prices reasonable.”
