Pizza, born in Naples, Italy, in the 18th century, was initially considered a humble and cheap snack for the poor. Now, it has evolved into the Beyoncé of the food world – it’s a star, everyone wants a slice, and it even has its own legion of devoted fans.
Not surprisingly, Burlington has embraced this cheesy sensation with open arms. Join us as we discover the best pizza shops in Burlington – where the crust is crisp, the cheese is gooey, and every slice is a piece of happiness!

How We Chose the Best Pizza Places in Burlington
1. Son of a Peach Pizzeria
|2049 Pine St #62, Burlington, ON L7R 1E9
|Mon - Thurs: 11:30 AM – 9 PM
Sunday: 11:30 AM – 8 PM
Son of a Peach Pizzeria aims to provide the coziness of your fave neighborhood spot with the food quality of fine dining. Here, everything’s made in-house, from the 96-hour fermented dough to sauces – even the bacon gets a special dose of applewood smoke!
They also believe in sustainability, so they source their produce, cheeses, and meats from local farmers and purveyors such as Ontario Bartlett.
We recommend their spicy salami and honey pizza. The crust is yummy, the generous helping of salami is beautifully complemented by two types of cheese, and the honey on top balances everything.
You should also pair your pizza with their delicious garlic knots – they’re freshly-made and tender.
They proudly claim to be the first Burlington restaurant to offer sparkling wine on tap, plus a range of hand-crafted, local beers. Pizza and beer? Yum!
Every single item we had was beyond delicious!
“After hearing about this pizza spot for quite some time, we finally made it out. It was definitely worth it and I’m sorry we waited this long. The location itself is great. The decor in the place is top notch. The staff are amazing. Everyone us very welcoming and friendly. They check up on the customers and establish great relations by making recommendations, getting to know you and simply by chatting you up. The food is INCREDIBLE. On our first visit we had the garlic knots, the BBQ chicken and the wild mushroom pizzas. The ingredients are super fresh, the combination of the flavours is perfect. Every single item we had was beyond delicious! We will definitely be returning and telling family and friends about this amazing pizzeria. A true Burlington gem!”

Industria Pizzeria + Bar, born in Montreal in 2014, made its way to Ontario under the watchful eye of Geoff Yee.
The place is adorned with rustic industrial decor – whitewashed brick, wood-and-metal finishes, and red and black accents. One can’t help but be drawn to the red pizza oven imported from Italy, where the wood-fired magic happens.
For those seeking a good deal, Industria offers happy hour specials on weekdays from 3 PM to 5 PM. With a TV and a full bar, it’s a perfect spot to unwind.
You should try their classic Margherita pizza – a tasty concoction of tomato sauce, fior de latte, or cow’s milk mozzarella, basil, and parmesan.
Another delicious option is their signature Industria pizza, featuring beef, yellow cheddar, iceberg lettuce, and pickles. It’s like enjoying a delicious Big Mac in pizza form!
Great environment, wonderful staff, and delicious food
“Great environment, wonderful staff and delicious food. Took my wife here for dinner and they managed to squeeze us in without a reservation on a busy Saturday night. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and we were well attended too. Will be returning soon 😊 keep up the great work Industria! Parking: Parking lot is a little busy over the weekend, but we did manage to find a spot in about 5 minutes. “

Artisan Pizza’s mission is to provide fresh, all-natural, handmade pizza from scratch.
Every day, they hand-toss fresh pizza dough using premium baker’s flour, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, baker’s yeast, 100% natural spring water, and sugar.
They also focus on their sauce, made from vine-ripened tomatoes sourced from the fertile valleys of California. Picked at the peak of ripeness, these tomatoes are packed within a mere six hours.
For cheese lovers, they proudly boast 100% Canadian mozzarella cheese.
What’s cool is that you get to create your own pizza, choosing from a variety of toppings, sauces, and cheeses. Gourmet and premium options include real bacon, steak, asiago cheese, and organic prosciutto.
For fans of classic flavors, we recommend their pepperoni pizza – adorned with fresh oregano, cheese, and pepperoni.
One of the best pizzas I’ve had
“I happened to stumble on this place and wow am I lucky I did. I would consider myself a pizza connoisseur, and appreciate good, fresh food. I happened to grab a slice of pepperoni and it did not disappoint. The little pepperoni is clutch and what sets them apart from every other pizza joint. They were crispy yet juicy and full of flavor. And only $2.00!! One of the best pizzas I’ve had. Not to mention they make a bomb homemade garlic dip 👌 it was off the hook. Highly recommend!”

Best Pepperoni of all pizza joints
“The pizza was delicious. Best Pepperonis of all pizza joints (Pizza Pizza, Dominos, Nova, Ginos, Pizzaiolo). Best Garlic Sauce by far. It seems home made. The friendly gentleman at the front said they recently switched their wings from fried to oven baked. I really enjoyed them as well! 10/10 would recommend!”

4. Applestone Pizzeria
|1900 Appleby Line, Burlington, ON L7L 0B7
|Mon-Thurs: 11 AM – 9 PM
Friday: 11 AM – 10 PM
Saturday: 3 PM – 10 PM
Sunday: 4 PM –9 PM
Applestone Pizzeria is where founder Mike turned his passion for pizza into a Burlington hotspot. His journey began as a pizza outlet franchisee, but he was dissatisfied with subpar ingredients.
To bring Burlington a genuine Italian pizzeria experience, Mike went to Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli in San Francisco to become an expert in Neapolitan and classic Italian pizza. Back in Canada, armed with new techniques, he opened Applestone Pizzeria.
Their dough is crafted from “00” Italian flour, producing a soft, light crust. After 48 hours of fermentation, the result is a more digestible and delicious dough.
Their sauce is a rich blend of real crushed tomatoes, fresh herbs, and spices, with tomato skins for texture and added nutrients. Applestone also uses premium dry-cured pepperoni and 18-month-aged prosciutto.
Try Anne’s Margherita, a balanced medley of vine-ripened tomato sauce, pepperoni, caramelized onion, and seasoned cherry tomatoes.
When we feel like a high-end pizza, this is where we go!
“Consistently good pizza that’s restaurant quality – when we feel like a high-end pizza, this is where we go! Very friendly and polite staff – compensated me with free dipping sauce and a sincere apology when I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my pick-up order during the dinner rush. The margarita pizza is our all-time favorite!”

Speaking of their menu, we recommend their bourbon BBQ chicken pizza, featuring house-made bourbon BBQ sauce, BBQ chicken, balsamic-roasted red onions. It also has mozzarella, cheddar, and bacon, and it’s finished with a buttermilk ranch drizzle.
You can also create your own pizza, using their original crust, signature pizza sauce, plus your favorite toppings.

Best Boston Pizza in the GTA
“Best Boston Pizza in the GTA in my experience. The pizza we got was amazing I haven’t had a pizza like that in any of the other branches and I have been to lots of different branches. The pizza was so good with the taste, they did not cheap out on the toppings and cheese and the veggies tasted really fresh. Will only go to this branch from now on. The servers were also friendly and pleasant. 5 stars!”
