The weekends and holidays, we can forgive. But, we think it’s odd (and expensive!) to consider anything past 3:00 PM on a weekday to be counted as overtime already.
We do appreciate that their rates are upfront, though, so no shockers there when it comes to the final bill.
Putting that aside, we love that they’re open 24/7, so clients with plumbing emergencies even during the wee hours of the night can be accommodated. In some cases, they can be at your home in as quick as half an hour!
Even more impressive is that they utilise state-of-the-art equipment in plumbing jobs to accurately assess the situation and swiftly deliver results.

They pride themselves on employing only highly-skilled and capable plumbers – all of whom have received proper training and have years of experience.
We also love the fact that all their installation services come with a lifetime warranty. In case of a recurring problem, they’ll send one of their plumbers to fix it at no additional cost.
Most of their clients don’t need to avail of this, though, as they also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. As the name implies, if you’re not completely satisfied with their services, you won’t need to pay.
That said, all these come at steep prices. Their rates are significantly more expensive, and we’ve heard of some complaints regarding hidden fees or non-transparent breakdowns of fees.
Upon calling them for help, one of their plumbers will be at your doorstep within hours, ready to fix the problem. And if the plumber fails to show up on time, clients won’t have to pay for anything.
The problem that some of their clients experience with this is that they tend to reschedule appointments they can’t reach on time. This tends to throw off someone’s entire schedule and is quite inconvenient.

For more than 50 years now, Brothers Plumbing has remained one of the most in-demand plumbing companies in Toronto.
They provide an extensive range of plumbing services for both residential and commercial properties. And, they don’t focus on repairs alone, but on installation and maintenance as well.
Though they have regular office hours daily, they do accommodate 24/7 emergency services. What’s great is that they don’t charge extra fees for weekend, overnight, and holiday work – an offer that most clients on a budget take advantage of.
We also love how frequently they run amazing deals and promotions. If you’re lucky, you can score up to $400 off on their waterproofing services or $300 off a main drip replacement on their website.
Another thing we like about them is their use of modern, specialised equipment. One of which is their hydro jetter, a commercial-grade machine that can drain out sewer line debris with highly-pressurised water.
And don’t worry, their licenced, bonded, and insured plumbers are all trained and well-versed in the use of such equipment and more.
We do wish they’d train their plumbers and staff members in better customer treatment, though. Apparently, several clients have complained of rude personnel.
We’ve also heard reports of some of their plumbers not arriving on time. Others would even call on the last hour window to inform them to simply reschedule.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a trusted plumbing company that services most of Toronto and York, providing plumbing services to residential homes and commercial spaces.
It’s one of the many plumbers that cater to both, but it’s the only one that doesn’t charge overtime fees. So if the problem ends up taking longer to fix, then you at least don’t need to worry about extra fees.
We appreciate, too, that they provide upfront pricing. Though significantly more expensive than some, there are no hidden charges and you’re given a clear picture of what you’ll be paying for.
The upside is that they frequently offer special promos and discounts. The key is to keep checking their website for some awesome vouchers you can use later on.
They’re also available 24/7 to attend to emergency services. Their plumbers are licenced and insured, so rest assured that they’re experts at what they do.
One thing we’d like them to work on is better customer service. Apparently, some of their plumbers were reported to be rude and condescending to clients.
We found their online customer service unhelpful, as well. Even their live agents don’t seem too keen on answering simple questions, and will insist on asking for your home number to give you a call instead.
