We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

My team and I were asked to plan the next corporate event. With no clue where to start, we decided to hunt down an amazing corporate event planner—someone to transform your company gathering from “been there, done that” to “wow, that was amazing!”

So, our quest began—friends, colleagues, even that barista who remembers my usual latte, everyone got bombarded with “corporate event planner” questions.

Finally, after hours of research and enough coffee to fuel a small nation, we emerged victorious! With the perfect planner by our side, we threw a corporate event that people are still talking about.

And to save you from the research rabbit hole (and potential caffeine overdose), here are the best corporate event planners in Toronto!

How much does a corporate event planner cost in Toronto?

Corporate event planners in Toronto typically charge an average of $50-$150 per hour, but they could also ask for a flat fee per project.
You can expect to pay more for planners with extensive experience or highly specialized events.

How We Chose the Best Corporate Event Planners in Toronto

Experience: We assessed the years of experience and the number of events managed by the planner to ensure they have a strong track record in corporate event planning.

Creativity: We looked at the planner’s ability to bring innovative and unique ideas to the table, ensuring each event is memorable and distinctive.

Budget Management: We assessed the planner’s ability to work within various budget ranges, ensuring they can deliver exceptional events without overspending.
Organizational Skills: We looked for planners with excellent organizational abilities to ensure smooth logistics and a well-coordinated event.
Communication: We prioritized planners who maintain clear communication with their clients, ensuring that all expectations and requirements are met.
Flexibility: We considered planners who are adaptable and can handle last-minute changes or unexpected challenges with ease.
Range of Services: We evaluated the services offered, from venue selection and decor to catering and entertainment, ensuring a comprehensive event planning experience.

Their specialty lies in creating engaging and fun team-building events that keep employees entertained, motivated, and connected.

They’re also known for their conference and meeting management skills. From small meetings to large conventions, they handle everything—venue, logistics, staffing, food and beverage management, event design, to name a few.

We even love their flair for corporate entertainment. Imagine Cirque acts, professional musicians, comedians, hypnotists, and unique greeters, all designed to delight and engage your guests.

Additionally, they offer virtual events, brand activations, social distancing events, company BBQs, family picnics, holiday parties, and more.

Superbly organized, professional, and personable

“This is a great company to work with. We worked with a few different people from this company while planning our event and each one was superbly organized, professional and personable. We also had a few last minute requests leading up to our event that were accommodated seamlessly. Would definitely hire Pop! Events again!”

Bisous Events is owned by Jessica, whose journey started after two years of backpacking, followed by event management studies. Her love for French culture, sparked by a trip to Paris, is evident in “Bisous,” which means “kisses” in French.

With a decade of experience in weddings, corporate, and private events, she adopts a hands-on approach to make sure every event is meticulously executed.

Bisous Events specializes in holiday and launch parties, office get-togethers, and conferences. They also handle out-of-town or out-of-country events.

Plus, they have event consultations virtually and in-person visits—perfect for those who need professional guidance without committing to a full package.

They also excel in wedding planning, and their work has been featured in publications such as Style Me Pretty, The Wedding Co., and Ruffled Blog.

And while we heard reports of the owner being rude and dismissive, these are few and far between.

  • Specializes in holiday and launch parties
  • Handles office get-togethers and conferences
  • Out-of-town or out-of-country events

Event Creation is another solid corporate event planning company in Toronto. These folks are a one-stop shop, handling both event planning and decorations.

Their planners work with you to create an event that reflects your company’s style. They’ll even design snazzy banners with your company name, which is a nice touch.

Plus, their decoration crew can transform any venue with fancy flowers, lighting that’ll blow your mind, and stunning table centerpieces.

For an extra dose of fun, they rent out interactive photo booths, perfect for capturing those hilarious (or maybe tipsy?) group pics. They also cover the basics like balloons, flowers, and party rentals (e.g. grass walls, neon signs, etc.).

But here’s the catch—we learned that Event Creation has a comparatively limited range of corporate event services. For instance, there’s no mention of team-building or conference logistics.

Pros

  • Handles event planning and decorations
  • Also designs company banners
  • Takes care of flowers, lighting, and centerpieces
  • Rents out interactive photo booths
  • Balloons and party rentals

Cons

  • Comparatively limited range of corporate services

Rebecca Chan Events is led by the celeb-favored planner Rebecca Chan. Since 2009, they’ve been specializing in crafting high-end experiences.

We like that they don’t just plan events, they design whole experiences—from blueprints and custom decorations to red carpets and the works. Their style leans towards modern and sophisticated, perfect if you want an event that screams “wow.”

They also provide brand activations, installation designs, and pop-up experiences. Prop styling, product photoshoots, and live events like PR launch parties, corporate events, and VIP media events are also available.

They even dabble in content creation, which could be handy for capturing those post-event marketing moments.

Their client list features notable names such as Square One, Upper Canada, Scarborough Town Centre, and Harry Rosen.

While Rebecca Chan Events boasts an impressive client list, we noticed that they offer fewer corporate event planning services.

Pros

  • Over 15 years of experience
  • Brand activations and installation designs
  • Pop-up experiences and product photoshoots
  • PR launch parties and VIP media events
  • Handles content creation
  • Has notable clients

Cons

  • Fewer corporate event planning services

All the events have been top notch. From the decor, planning and the service they provide. Honestly the best of the best when it comes to events planning and we highly recommend you get this team to plan any special occasion. We look forward to working with this amazing team again in the near future.”

Upon Occasion was founded by the award-winning Libby and boasts over a decade of experience crafting unique and memorable events.

They cater to all your corporate event needs, from brand-boosting PR shindigs to employee appreciation parties. No matter your industry, size, or budget, Upon Occasion claims they can handle it.

Unlike other firms, they offer a range of planning packages.

If you need them to handle everything from venue sourcing to vendor wrangling, go for the full-service option. But, if you already have the basics covered but need help tying it all together, their month-of coordination could be perfect.

They even offer a customizable partial planning package for those who want some support but not the full shebang.

Keep in mind, however, that with their impressive track record and flexible packages, Upon Occasion is pretty popular, potentially making it tricky to secure their services.

Pros

  • Over a decade of experience
  • Has multiple industry awards
  • Caters to events of all sizes and budgets
  • Full-service, month-of, and partial-planning packages

Cons

  • Should be booked at least 3 months in advance

Libby is the best in the industry!!!

“Libby is the best in the industry!!! We can not speak any higher about her!!! She made our day perfect and so smooth. We are of different backgrounds and Libby did a great job of making sure there was a perfect balance of all our cultures and being a peace marker when needed. From the first meeting it felt like she was part of the family and made us super comfortable. Libby knows all the best vendors that worked for our budget and made our day super beautiful.”
