5 Best Clinics in Church and Wellesley That Keep Getting Shoutouts

top-church-and-wellesley-clinics
We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.
  • Expertise - We chose Church and Wellesley clinics staffed by experienced professionals who bring years—often decades— of hands-on experience.
  • Inclusivity - We looked for clinics that create a welcoming space for everyone, especially 2SLGBTQ+ folks who want judgment-free care.
  • Range of Services - We picked clinics offering more than just checkups—think mental health support, rehab, sexual health, hormone therapy, and pharmacy access.
  • Value for Money - We highlighted clinics that offer OHIP-covered services or clear, fair pricing for those paying out of pocket.
  • Local Reputation - We trusted what the neighborhood had to say. Clinics with strong community support and glowing reviews made the list.

Top-notch, judgment-free care is hard to come by. That’s why I feel lucky living near Church and Wellesley.

This area has plenty of trusted health clinics that offer everything—from primary care, wellness, and travel support to LGBTQ+ inclusive sexual health services, pharmacies, and even rehab options.

I always recommend them to those who need their services. I’m confident that these spots offer not only convenience but also compassion and respect.

So, if you’re looking for community care that actually sees you, here are the top Church and Wellesley clinics that locals are low-key raving about.

How much do health clinics charge in Toronto?

Without OHIP, a health clinic consultation in Toronto can range from $50 to $200, depending on the type of care. Many services are free if you’re covered by OHIP, like doctor visits and walk-in clinic consultations.
Specialized services like naturopathy, mental health counseling, sexual health testing, and physiotherapy might carry additional fees or sliding scale options. Some community or LGBTQ+ clinics offer low-cost or pay-what-you-can programs.

This place is like an oasis in the city

“This place is like an oasis in the city. The staff here are outstanding, everyone is so kind and helpful. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and are always there to support, guide, and give you any information you need. They have snacks and ginger candies, all kinds of teas, and water. The nurses replace the warm bags on your arm, and they are very attentive. I love going here and will continue visiting quite often.”

Church Wellesley Rehabilitation is ideal for those with nagging pain or old injuries. It’s only a quick stroll from Wellesley Station—you can go there after work or squeeze in a midday appointment.

If you’re suffering from misalignment or muscle strain, the clinic’s expert physiotherapists will put together a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals.

They also offer spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments using gentle, effective techniques that don’t feel intimidating, especially if you’re new to chiropractic care.

The massage therapy side of things is worth a shout, too. It’s not just for relaxation (though yes, you’ll feel amazing after). Their wide range of therapeutic massages helps with circulation, swelling, muscle performance, and stress.

One small heads-up—we heard reports about a rude receptionist, which can be a bummer at the front desk.

Pros

  • Quick stroll from Wellesley Station
  • Has physiotherapists on staff
  • Offers chiropractic care
  • Wide range of therapeutic massages

Cons

  • Reports of a rude receptionist

I’ve been receiving exceptional care for many years now!

“I’ve been receiving exceptional care by all the staff at CW Rehab for many years now! RMT, chiropractor, and physiotherapy are always thoughtful and intentional. They’ve helped me work through shoulder injuries and chronic back pain. Sohil is just the best, and Dorian (their RMT) has hands of stone and works out all of my kinks. Highly recommend.”

One of the best chiropractors I have ever been to

“Dr. Shawn is one of the best chiropractors I have ever been to. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. As a professional dancer myself, Shawn has really invested his extra time in learning a bit more about my workload so he can better focus his treatments (which also include medical acupuncture and active release therapy). His treatments work really well and are affordable! As for the clinic, it is centrally located, clean, warm & inviting. The staff are very personable and friendly as well. Overall, I can’t speak any more highly of this rehab clinic and Dr. Shawn. I have had countless injuries over the years, and I have never had better service! Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.”

Everest Travel Clinic is one of the best travel clinics in Toronto, but it’s way more than that. It’s also a full-service health pharmacy and walk-in facility.

This spot offers travel-specific vaccines, including Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hep A/B, Dengue, COVID-19, and more (all aligned with international guidelines). They also carry non-travel vaccines like booster shots and routine immunizations.

We like their flexible scheduling—you can book ahead or walk in. You can also choose a virtual consultation, where a travel-savvy doctor will review your itinerary, assess risks, and make vaccine and medication recommendations.

All major insurance carriers are accepted, too—CBP, GSC, Manulife, Sun Life, etc.

Just be aware that for uncommon vaccines, like Japanese Encephalitis or certain region-specific shots, you’ll want to call ahead.

Pros

  • Wide range of travel-specific vaccines
  • Also offers non-travel vaccines
  • Has flexible scheduling
  • Offers virtual consultation
  • Accepts major insurance carriers

Cons

  • Need to call ahead for uncommon vaccines

Had the best experience at Everest Travel Clinic!

“Had the best experience at Everest Travel Clinic! The pharmacist, Kumail, was so helpful and prepared when it came to figuring out which medications and vaccines I needed, and put together such a comprehensive plan! Could not have asked for a better experience. Absolutely recommend!”

Consultation fee was lower than at other travel clinics

“Kumail was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The consultation fee was lower than I’ve seen at other travel clinics. Our whole itinerary was reviewed in conjunction with our medical records in an easy-to-follow way. When it came time for the administration of vaccines, Kumail was compassionate and helpful. 10/10 experience.”

One downside we heard about is the long wait times. If you’re bored of scrolling through your phone, bring a book or a snack for the wait.

I honestly do not have one complaint, only gratitude

“I have been going to Sanomed for about two years, and I honestly do not have one complaint, only gratitude for everything they’ve done for me. Whether it was my mental health or my physical health, they have always given exemplary care. Dr. Mark and Dr. Jain are two of the most amazing doctors I’ve ever met in my life. They truly care about their patience. The front staff is also completely wonderful, and I appreciate their kindness and always getting me an appointment when I need one. I cannot say enough about this office and how wonderful everyone is who works there.”

Lesley Hunter, Google Review

My first experience with this walk-in clinic was exceptional

“My first experience with this walk-in clinic was exceptional. Thank you to the girl at the front desk who was very efficient and kind. The doctor was very professional and helpful in my case. The clinic has a high standard of hygiene. The only thing I had a concern about was that someone came into the clinic with a dog, which should not happen since patients can have allergies/ asthma, etc. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this clinic because of the excellent service.”

Perfect example of our healthcare system functioning properly

“This clinic is a perfect example of our healthcare system functioning properly. I actually prefer the convenience of their walk-in service. My family doctor retired years ago, and sure, I miss her, but I have absolutely no issue with the Patient Networks team. Streamlined approach to make sure you receive the proper care you need, and wow, are they fast. Convenient location if using transit and a few parking garages close by if you need to take the car.”
