A friend of mine flew into Toronto recently and swore he wasn’t staying at an airport hotel. He said they were all the same: noisy, boring, and overpriced.
I actually wanted to prove him wrong. So I recommended one I’d stayed at before, and he reluctantly gave it a shot.
The next day, he called me, raving about the quiet rooms, dreamy bed, and the luxury of not hurrying to make it to his early flight. Then, he laughed and said, “Yeah, yeah, you were right. Happy?”
Indeed, I was! If you think these spots are just a last resort, think again. The list of Toronto airport hotels below—the best in my city—will prove you wrong.
How much does it cost to stay in an airport hotel in Toronto?
Staying at an airport hotel in Toronto typically costs between $150 and $300 per night. Budget options may start around $130, while upscale stays with perks like shuttles, spas, or on-site dining can hit $300 or more.
Note that prices can surge during peak travel seasons or last-minute bookings.
1. Best Western Plus Travel Hotel Toronto Airport

Best Western Plus is a budget-friendly option just 7 km from Pearson Airport—perfect for travelers who want convenience without overspending.
The rooms offer small but thoughtful amenities like 42-inch LCD TVs, single-serve K-Cup coffee makers, minifridges, and microwaves.
Suites offer even more space with separate living areas, pull-out sofas, and whirlpool tubs, giving you a taste of comfort even during quick layovers.
Plus, you’ll wake up to a free hot breakfast every day, which sounds like heaven to me.
We love their complimentary airport shuttle service, which runs from 5 AM to 11:30 PM. This is great if you’re trying to avoid costly taxis or rideshares at odd hours.
One caveat to keep in mind—we heard reports of rude front desk service.
The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better
“I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. From fresh pastries to hot dishes, it was the perfect way to start the day. The room itself was impeccably clean, with everything well-maintained and organized. It made for such a comfortable and relaxing environment to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better. It was situated in a prime area, close to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping spots, making it very convenient for exploring the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great food, excellent cleanliness, and a prime location.”

2. Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport

Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport offers unbeatable convenience as the only hotel directly connected to Pearson Airport via a walkway to Terminal 3. Guests can even check in their flights and print boarding passes right from the lobby!
They offer 474 rooms spread across eight floors, and each room is equipped with flat-screen TVs, ACs, blackout curtains, coffee makers, and minibars. As for comfort, who doesn’t want free newspapers, plush bathrobes, and hypoallergenic bedding?
You can even unwind with a dip in their indoor pool or a drink at their in-house bar.
Now, their check-in process might not be as smooth or fast as you’d like (as per past guests). But all in all, this 4-star hotel seems to be worth it.
One of the best airport hotels I’ve stayed at!
“One of the best airport hotels I’ve stayed at! Our Delta flight was canceled, so we had to unexpectedly stay overnight at the airport—and I’m so glad we ended up at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto Pearson. This is definitely one of the nicest airport hotels I’ve experienced. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with a direct bridge that connects right to the terminal. Perfect for a quick layover or early morning flight. The hotel recently went through a full renovation, and you can tell—everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully updated. A standout feature is the Club Lounge. The food selection was great, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with during our stay made a stressful travel day a little easier. If I ever need to stay near YYZ again, I’d absolutely return. Highly recommend!”

My go-to hotel before my flights home
“I’ve made this hotel my go-to for the night before my flights home from Toronto. It’s incredibly spacious, surprisingly quiet, and immaculate throughout. It’s a genuinely amazing hotel, made even better by opening right up into Terminal 3, which is ideal for very early morning flights. Oh, the food is really good and I don’t mind expensing that either.”

3. Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport by IHG

Holiday Inn is located just a 3-minute drive from Pearson Airport. We appreciate its 24-hour airport shuttle service, which removes the stress of arranging last-minute transportation, especially for early morning or late-night flights.
Each of its guest rooms and suites is equipped with free WiFi, 37” flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Note that their standard rooms might feel on the smaller side, according to previous guests.
They also have an on-site restaurant, Bistro YYZ & Patio, that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus a cool selection of wine, beer, and nightly chef specials. For early birds, Seattle’s Best coffee shop opens daily at 5 AM.
Value-added hotel packages are available, too. An example is their Gas and Go Package, which includes a $25 gas card per night.
Free airport shuttle every 30 minutes
“Stayed here after my flight got canceled, and it turned out to be a great choice. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—just what I needed after a long travel day. The free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes was incredibly convenient and ran right on time. Overall, a smooth and hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a reliable airport hotel near Toronto Pearson!”

This is a very clean hotel
“This is a very clean hotel. The staff, especially Brian, was exceptional! He had to check on myself, my sisters and my brothers as we booked 5 rooms. He was very helpful and helped with all our luggage. He was very smart and very professional. Ali, who was also at the reception, was amazing, giving a warm welcome and helping, because there were so many of us checking in at the same time. Sunains, who was at the reception, was also very friendly. All the staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.”

4. Courtyard Toronto Airport

Courtyard Toronto Airport is a modern, no-frills hotel just 2.2 km from Pearson International Airport.
The rooms are contemporary and comfortable, with useful amenities like free WiFi, TVs, minifridges, microwaves, and coffee makers. If you’re traveling with family, suites with separate living areas are also available.
Beyond the basics, the hotel also offers welcoming social spaces like a living room-style lobby and a nice outdoor patio—you can read a book peacefully or mingle with guests. They have an indoor pool and fitness room as well, which are great for decompressing.
Thanks to their on-site American restaurant, you can grab breakfast and dinner here. You can even score all-day Starbucks coffee.
One drawback to note: some guests have trouble reaching hotel staff via phone. This can be annoying, especially if you need to request service ASAP.
Talk about a great place at a reasonable price!
“Talk about a great place at a reasonable price! The ruins were excellent, large, and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly, and the shuttle service to the airport was great and on time.”

5. Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites

Located directly across from Pearson International Airport, Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites offers a round-the-clock airport shuttle for free.
Upgraded rooms include a fridge and an in-room safe, but their standard rooms are loaded with amenities already. These include flat-screen TVs, a tea/coffee maker, a hair dryer, and toiletries.
If you want to maintain your workout routine, they have a fitness center and health club, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. As for recreation, you’re spoiled for choice—casino, golf, skiing, horseback riding, tennis—you name it!
You don’t have to look far for good eats, either. Their Mosaic Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Sadly, we heard reports of dirty drawers and walls, which suggest a lapse in housekeeping standards.
Consistently been my top choice for accommodations
“Hilton has consistently been my top choice for accommodations, whether for business or family trips. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the rooms are impeccably maintained, and the customer service is exceptional. From seamless check-ins to attentive staff, every stay reinforces why Hilton remains a trusted brand. Their commitment to quality and guest satisfaction is evident in every detail. I highly recommend Hilton for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.”

By far the best experience I’ve had in Toronto
“Thank you so much, MJ, for making our stay such a breeze. This was by far the best experience I’ve had in Toronto. The room was a perfect size, and I appreciated the wide selection of TV channels. My digital key worked seamlessly every time, which made coming and going so convenient. The 24-hour airport shuttle service was a huge plus, and getting around town was easy with Uber, Lyft, and UP Express nearby. Everything was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thanks again for the excellent hospitality!”
