We love their electric go-karts, which are safer, faster, quieter, and emit no exhaust fumes of any kind, unlike the traditional gas-powered karts. Their state-of-the-art, European karts can run up to a zooming 45 km/h! 

At K1 Speed, the fun comes in all shapes – from casual Arrive & Drive races to intense head-to-head leagues and private race packages. And when those racing engines need a break, they’ve got an on-site food and beverage spot to refuel you.

Sure, you’ve heard of the legendary Canada’s Wonderland, but did you know about their go-karting attraction? Yep–you’ll find the 1,000-foot-long track in the Medieval Faire section of the park.

Speed City Raceway opened at the park in 1997 and was manufactured for J&J Amusements, the industry’s largest go-kart manufacturer.  These karts are no slouches either – they can hit speeds of up to 45 km/h!

Quick tip: to get behind the wheel, you’ve gotta measure up between 4.8ft and 6.5ft tall. If you’re a bit shorter, no worries – you can still ride shotgun with a legal parent or guardian who’s 18 years or older. 

Pro Tip:

Take note that you have to pay an additional fee to access the go-kart attraction at Canada’s Wonderland. It costs $15.00 for one lap or $25.00 for two laps.

If you prefer to drive indoors, Parkway Mall’s Kart Town is a great choice. It’s the perfect spot for the whole family, welcoming drivers of all ages, even the little ones!

For safety,  kiddos under 6 years old or 3.7 ft tall get to team up with an adult for their first thrilling ride. These double-seater cars can handle a max combined weight of 90 kg – it’s a true tag-team adventure.

Their “adventures” cost $15 or $20 for two, and last for approximately 5-7 minutes, including the time it takes to get on and off the track. They also offer party and field trip packages.
