Amsterdam Brewhouse is a massive spot right by Toronto’s waterfront, with plenty of room for everyone—seriously, it’s huge. The ambiance inside is industrial chic, with high ceilings and lots of wood beams.
Plus, they’ve got rows of TVs and shiny fermenters that make you feel like you’re in the heart of the brewing action.
When the weather’s nice, you’ll definitely wanna snag a spot outside since they’ve got three patios! Choose the one that practically hangs over the water – it’s got those comfy Muskoka chairs that just scream “relaxation mode.”
And don’t miss the Amsterdam pretzel, served with this amazing beer-infused mustard. As for the crispy fish tacos, they’re a hit too: fresh, tangy, and just downright delicious.
If you’re into sour beers, definitely give their Maverick and Gose a try – it’s got that perfect balance of salt and coriander, aged in Chardonnay barrels for that extra oomph.
Pro Tip:
Do note that if you’re gluten-free, your options at Amsterdam Brewhouse might be a bit limited. They’ve only got a few dishes – and they’re not the most exciting – so better check their menu beforehand!

Miku is a Japanese gem right by Toronto’s harbourfront with some seriously stunning views. The place has been around since 2015 and boasts over 7000 square feet of space, complete with a raw bar, sushi bar, and a big ol’ patio.
They also believe in the Ningenmi philosophy – ‘finding joy by spreading joy’ – which definitely comes through in their dishes.
Their claim to fame is their Aburi-style sushi, and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype. We tried their Aburi Prime – this awesome starter pack of 10 pieces of nigiri sushi, jazzed up with cool garnishes and sauces that totally hit the spot.
They’ve also got this Coal Harbour Platter that’s basically a seafood lover’s dream come true. Oysters, mussels, prawns — you name it, they’ve got it!
And their green tea opera cake is a thing of beauty — layers of sponge cake, matcha buttercream, and chocolate ganache that’ll have you coming back for more.
Pro Tip:
If you’re into wine, Sunday is the day to visit Miku. They’ve got half-off bottles, so you can sip and savor while taking in those gorgeous waterfront views.

We also had an epic dining experience at Spencer’s At The Waterfront. This place is like a dream come true with its killer patio and those insane glass walls that give you the most stunning views.
If you’re into seafood, you’re in for a treat. They’ve got oysters that were shucked by a champ, and this whole-boned branzino that’s crispy and delicate at the same time.
It gets even better – they’ve got this farm nearby in Flamborough, so you know the veggies and meat are super fresh and local.
We tried this avocado salad that looked more like an art piece than food – rainbow carrots, cashew crema, and sliced avocado? Yes, please!
For meat lovers, definitely order their steak. It’s dry-aged for 28 days, and when it meets that creamy potato pavé, it’s like heaven in your mouth.
Fancy sipping wine while enjoying the view? They’ve got Canadian classics, plus some international picks too.
Pro Tip:
If you’re thinking of tying the knot or celebrating something big, Spencer’s At The Waterfront is the spot. Just imagine having your special day with that view – it’s like something out of a fairytale!
Eden Trattoria

Address: 58 Marine Parade Dr, Toronto, ON M8V 4G1
Hours: Mon – Sun: 11 AM – 10:30 PM
Contact: (416) 255-5588
Eden Trattoria has been around since ’97, which means they know their stuff when it comes to pizza and pasta.
If possible, try to get seated at their upper level called Upper Eden. You’ll get these sweet views of the lake and the city skyline – so serene and romantic.
As for us, we snagged a table on the first level, and the view of the lake and boardwalk was also unreal. It’s like you’re on vacation with all the people strolling by, biking, and rollerblading.
We started with this Charcuterie Board for two. Even though there were three of us, we were stuffed – and the truffle mushroom bruschetta was mouthwatering!
As for pasta, try their seafood spaghetti with white sauce. Add some shaved Parmesan and bruschetta tomatoes – you won’t regret it.
Pair your pasta with their white sangria. It’s like summer in a glass, and it’s perfect for sharing.
Pro Tip:
A quick heads up – Eden Trattoria is mostly walk-in, so reservations are limited, and if you’re eyeing that patio, sorry, no reservations there either. But trust us, it’s worth the wait!

Lawrence Lapiante, the owner and pit master of Cherry Street Bar-B-Que, is like the BBQ whisperer, even rubbing shoulders with BBQ legends like Mike Mills. Impressively, they’re the only BBQ joint in Canada with a Michelin nod.
Here, you’re just a hop, skip, and jump away from Cherry Beach. You walk up to the counter to place your order, grab a drink from the bar inside or the patio, and bam – you’re in BBQ bliss.
Did we mention the outdoor DJ? The whole place comes alive as the sun sets.
Now, onto the good stuff – the brisket. Simple, seasoned to perfection, and so tender it practically melts in your mouth.
We also recommend their St. Louis ribs, glazed in vinegar and butter, so scrumptious. Everything comes on a tray with sliced white bread, pickles, and onions.
For drinks, their smoked margarita is a crowd favorite, and for good reason.
Pro Tip:
Cherry Street’s brunch on the weekends is next-level indulgence. Think avocado and eggs over slow-smoked beans and Caesars garnished with a smoked rib – brunch goals, am I right?

As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with this massive patio, like a cabana paradise with umbrellas all around. Venture inside and you’re greeted with this cool, rustic vibe, complete with rope chandeliers and hip lighting.
Now, onto the grub – they’ve got this yummy lineup of contemporary dishes mixed in with classic pub favorites.
For starters, try their ahi poke bowl, with fresh fish, avocado, pineapple, and a bunch of other goodies all in one bowl.
Their Elk Experience burger is another crowd-pleaser. Juicy elk patty, Korean BBQ glazed bacon, beer-battered onion rings – need I say more?
To wash all these pub goodies down, give their Spiced Watermelon Sangria a shot – it’s like a fruity explosion with a spicy twist.
Pro Tip:
If sangria’s not your jam, they’ve got a whole lineup of cocktails and beers to choose from. Whether you’re into frosé, cobblers, or just a good ol’ beer, The Goodman Pub and Kitchen has got you covered.

They’ve garnered accolades like the 2013 Where to Dine Readers’ Choice Award and a spot in enRoute Magazine’s Top 100 Restaurants in Canada.
From delicate hand-made dim sum to a selection of fine Chinese teas, Pearl Harbourfront offers a culinary experience that’s both traditional and exquisite.
Don’t miss their signature Har Kau or Shrimp Dumplings, packed with sweet shrimp and steamed to perfection. We doubt one serving would be enough– they’re THAT good!
For a more savory treat, try the Siu Mai – a pork-based dumpling nestled inside an egg noodle wrapper – or their steamed scallop dumpling.
Wash it all down with a choice of delicate Chinese teas ranging from jasmine to chrysanthemum.
Pro Tip:
If shrimp is your jam, don’t miss out on their fried shrimp toast – it’s crispy perfection served with Worcestershire sauce for a delightful twist. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can also ask for mayonnaise or sweet and sour sauce to go with it.

Nestled along the scenic Lakeshore, La Vecchia Restaurant offers sweeping views of Lake Ontario and the bustling downtown area. Dining here feels like a mini getaway from the city hustle.
Going inside La Vecchia is like entering a rustic Italian trattoria. The stone and stucco walls adorned with Italian pictures and art create an atmosphere that transports you to the cobblestone streets of old-world Italy.
Whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, there’s something for everyone on the menu, with many dishes easily customizable to suit dietary preferences.
For starters, we appreciate their complimentary bread. Warm, crusty, and oh-so-delicious, it’s the perfect precursor to our culinary journey.
Then, we had their Linguine Alla Carbonara, a decadent pasta dish. The creamy sauce, perfectly balanced with cheese, coated each strand of pasta.
To end the meal on a sweet note, we couldn’t resist trying the panna cotta. Its velvety texture and subtle sweetness provided the perfect ending.
Pro Tip:
If you happen to visit La Vecchia on a Monday evening, don’t miss the live music on the patio. It’s an added touch that elevates the dining experience to new heights.

Joe Bird is the ultimate destination for all things chicken — from finger-licking fried to mouthwatering BBQ. With Chef Joao Medina at the helm, the menu offers awesome chicken dishes, alongside fresh salads, sides, and zesty sauces.
The vibe at Joe Bird is eclectic yet inviting, with an airy bar area adorned with quirky chandeliers. But the real gem is their waterfront patio, offering picturesque views complete with crate seats, oversized Jenga, and a charcoal BBQ pit.
When it comes to food, their BBQ bird steals the show. We’re addicted to its succulent meat smothered in sticky hoisin tamarind sauce and sprinkled with a medley of aromatic spices.
We also adore their grilled pineapple salad — a zesty blend of sweet and tangy flavors that perfectly complements the main course.
For a refreshing sip, their Paloma cocktail hits the spot, combining lime and grapefruit juice with tequila and fizzy grapefruit San Pellegrino.
Pro Tip:
Craving a leisurely weekend treat? Be sure to swing by for Joe Bird’s brunch, served from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM – their lovely lakeshore ambiance and finger-licking fare would certainly help satisfy your chicken cravings.

Pie Bar is a cozy eatery that churns out mouthwatering Neapolitan pizzas and fresh pasta right before your eyes. Whether you’re grabbing lunch with coworkers or enjoying a family dinner, Pie Bar welcomes all.
Tucked in an airy space with an industrial-chic vibe, this spot is perfect for a laid-back meal or a leisurely evening on the patio. It also sports a geometric bar design, adorned with twinkling light bulbs and mismatched chairs.
We came for their pizza, of course. Crafted from scratch using authentic Italian ’00 flour and baked in a 4500-pound dome oven imported from Italy, each pie boasts a perfect crispy crust and delicious toppings.
Our go-to is the Godfather — a wonderful blend of San Marzano tomato sauce, fior de latte, spicy soppressata, Calabrian chili, garlic, and a drizzle of local honey.
But don’t overlook the pasta! The spaghetti carbonara is a must-try, with its velvety egg yolk, crispy pancetta, and generous sprinkling of Reggiano cheese.
Pro Tip:
For dessert, try Pie Bar’s coconut raspberry gelato, perfectly balancing creamy coconut with tangy raspberry flavors. If you want to make it more sinful, add an extra dollar for a fruity flavor shot – yum!

Don Alfonso 1890 is a culinary spot perched atop the Westin Harbour Castle, offering breathtaking views of Toronto’s skyline and Lake Ontario. With a chic 90-seat space that boasts a 360-degree panorama, dining here feels like a luxurious escape.
This Michelin-starred restaurant received various awards, including being named the Best Italian Restaurant in the World outside of Italy.
While their Signature Tasting Menu is a splurge at $220 per person, we think it’s well worth it for six expertly crafted courses.
Alternatively, the lounge menu offers more affordable yet equally delicious options like Wagyu beef tenderloin carpaccio or caprese salad.
Don Alfonso’s Il Vesuvio di Rigatoni is another dish we love. It features a pasta ring filled with creamy buffalo ricotta and aged Parmigiano Reggiano, smothered in San Marzano tomato sauce.
Wine aficionados would appreciate their extensive wine selection, boasting over 2,400 bottles from around the globe, with a focus on Italian and Californian labels.
Pro Tip:
For a perfect ending to your meal, treat yourself to a post-dinner coffee or grappa at Don Alfonso. It’s served with decadent dark chocolate and freshly made Italian Mostaccioli biscuits.

Alexandros Take-Out near the Westin Harbour Castle is our go-to spot for quick bites with a view. Their traditional Greek cooking methods result in mouthwatering gyro, slowly roasted to perfection on a vertical rotisserie.
Since 1997, they’ve been serving up delicious gyro, packed with seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and optional feta cheese, all wrapped in warm pita bread. And luckily, it’s not only tasty but also easy on the wallet.
Our favorite is their smoky pork gyro, although the chicken gyro is also a hit. They even offer veggie options for those looking for a meatless treat.
Plus, their Greek poutine is a must-try – very comforting and filling, not to mention tasty! Other classics include spanakopita and Greek salad, both fresh and flavorful.
While Alexandros isn’t fancy, it’s got charm, with ’50s diner-style benches outside where you can enjoy your meal while taking in the waterfront scenery.
Pro Tip:
If you’re ready to try offerings other than gyros, then go for Alexandros’ falafel wrap and spinach pie – these are something a little different but equally delicious.

The ambiance here is spot-on for a coastal retreat. Imagine peachy villa tones, cool tiles, and marble counters, all opening up to a sprawling patio decked out with umbrellas and comfy iroko chairs.
Seafood lovers would love their daily catch, which is fresh and flavorful. But we really came here for their seafood tower — a decadent display of oysters, shrimp, lobster, and more, served with all the fixings.
For meat aficionados, the smoked beef short rib is a must-try. It’s tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.
We also enjoy their Oasis Brunch — a Sunday ritual featuring classic brunch dishes and a jaw-dropping raw bar.
As a bonus, they offer complimentary parking for Toronto Beach Club guests.
Pro Tip:
If you’re eyeing Toronto Beach Club’s gorgeous outdoor patio, remember they don’t take advance reservations for it. But don’t fret — just request outdoor seating when you book, and they’ll do their best to accommodate you upon arrival, weather permitting.
