Customer Reviews
Here are some reviews from their clients:
“I recently completed my invisalign journey with City Orthodontics. I had a great experience with Dr. Kimos and his team. Dr. Kimos ensures that you understand and are comfortable with the treatment plan and satisfied with the results!”
“Dr. Kimos was fabulous. From our first consultation he told me exactly how to fix my smile. We did the treatment that he initially thought was best for me (invisiIign) and my smile ended up looking even better than I had anticipated. I have no words to describe how grateful I am for his advice and professionalism. A side from being an extremely friendly and meticulous orthodontist, Dr. Kimos has a great staff of people that are available to answer questions and were always willing to accommodate me with my SUPER busy schedule. I couldn’t be happier with his service! Best orthodontist in Toronto hands down.”
2. Forest Hill Orthodontics
EXPERTISE | ★★★★★ |
CARE AND COMFORT | ★★★★★ |
FACILITIES | ★★★★☆ |
CONVENIENCE | ★★★★☆ |
Serving the Toronto community for over 60 years now, Forest Hill Orthodontics has become one of the most trusted clinics in the GTA and even nearby areas. Their office is in midtown Toronto and is accessible, clean, and very comfortable.
Forest Hill Orthodontics is a Toronto leader in lingual braces, which are braces that are placed inside and kept hidden. They are also introducing self-ligating braces to their clients, which are known to be cleaner than traditional ones and provide better oral hygiene.
Apart from braces, they also offer Invisalign. They are known providers of the brand and are knowledgeable for procedures for both teens and adults.
The team members of this clinic are all efficient. Those who administer or assist during dental procedures are all professional orthodontists or certified and licensed in dental hygiene.
Honestly, the only thing we dislike about this service is their inconsistent business hours. They adjusted their hours to accommodate after school and work patients during weekdays but the schedules vary per day.
We don’t encourage walk-ins for this clinic given the changes in their time slots. We do note that appointments are easy and you can get an assessment online.
Forest Hills is not the cheapest out there, but they offer 0% interest installment plans to assist patients. We gladly recommend them for their tenure and care towards patients.
Pros
- Over 60 years in the business
- Provides braces for children, teens, and adults
- Installment plans available
- Elite providers of Invisalign
Cons
- Can be strict with appointments
- Inconsistent business hours
- Closed during weekends

A client-focused culture that leaves customers feeling cared for
Let me start off by saying that I doubt the experience I’ve had at Forest Hill Orthodontics can be replicated anywhere else. This particular dental office possesses a unique blend of genuinely upbeat professionals and a client-focused culture that leaves customers feeling cared for and valued. I want to also send a special shout out to Beth and Valentina for always going over and beyond to assist me in any way they can. Salute! — Shawn Neil, via Google
3. Orthodontics on Queen
EXPERTISE | ★★★★★ |
CARE AND COMFORT | ★★★★★ |
FACILITIES | ★★★★☆ |
CONVENIENCE | ★★★★☆ |
Orthodontics on Queen has one of the most beautiful clinics in Toronto. Their space is well-lit, has a good area for waiting customers, and is updated with good equipment.
This clinic is headed by Dr. Jordan Seetner, a certified specialist in orthodontics. In 2021, they were awarded as a Diamond+ Top 1 Invisalign Provider.
Orthodontics on Queen provides next generation braces, which use low-profile, rounded braces, and light forces to give the mouth and connected areas a better experience. We like how they perform easy and interceptive to make it easier for children.
They make use of 3D scanners to visually assess a patient’s teeth and make it easier for patients to see their dental situation. These scanners also help the clinic determine all that they will need for your procedure.
Silicon-Valley based engineering and NASA-based materials are also utilized by Dr. Seetner in order to achieve results quickly and more effectively.
The only thing that makes this service inconvenient is their business hours. They have different schedules almost every day, are not open every Friday, and are closed during weekends.
All said, there isn’t really anything to dislike about Orthodontics on Queen. Online appointments are available and you are guaranteed your slot every single time.
Pros
- Awarded as a Diamond+ Top 1 Invisalign Provider
- Uses 3D scanners
- Beautiful clinic
Cons

4. Wired Orthodontics
EXPERTISE | ★★★★★ |
CARE AND COMFORT | ★★★★☆ |
FACILITIES | ★★★★☆ |
CONVENIENCE | ★★★★☆ |
For more than 8 years, Wired Orthodontics has been serving people in the Greater Toronto Area. They are parts of professional organizations such as the Ontario Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
What we like most about this service is that they offer a variety of options for braces. They have metal, ceramic, and lingual braces and perform both early and adult treatment.
They are even one of the clinics awarded with a Diamond+ Top 1 Invisalign Provider badge, so it is safe to get an Invisalign with them.
The expertise of Wired Orthodontics’ head Dr. Mark Nalbandian is commendable. They are one of the few clinics who offer dentofacial orthopedics, which can only be performed by a dentist who underwent additional 2 to 3 years of formal training in a residency.
Dentofacial orthopedics is helpful as it helps with one’s facial structure and alignment on top of teeth alignment.
On top of all these, initial consultation is free. This is very convenient as some people really need a background on braces or Invisalign first.
Apart from their inconsistent hours, there isn’t anything negative to say about Wired Orthodontics. We do note that there are several complaints about their front desk being unresponsive or confusing, so we really hope they can address that.
Wired Orthodontics has an impressive office that can accommodate a number of patients daily. It would be best to book an appointment to guarantee your slot.
Pros
- More than 8 years experience
- Offers dentofacial orthopedics
- Free initial consultation
- Diamond+ Top 1 Invisalign Provider
Cons
- Inconsistent business hours
- Confusing and pushy front desk (according to two reviews)
Customer Reviews
I rarely write reviews but in this case, I am compelled. Dr. Mark is exactly what you want in an orthodontist. From the beginning process to the final result, I was made aware of the intent and progress of my smile. I found myself really looking forward to my appointments because he and his staff are so kind and friendly. Mathi is so accommodating when it comes to booking appointments. Dr. Mark genuinely cares about his patients and without a doubt the very best in the business. 😊 — Michelle Fernandes, via Google
I had a wonderful experience with Dr.Mark and his entire team. Dr.Mark is truly an expert in his field. He was able to diagnose my open bite issue caused by an ill fitting night guard immediately. He skillfully used Invisalign to correct my bite and leave me with a healthy and happy smile once again. As an adult patient he brought humor and laughter to every appointment and was also so supportive and respectful of his team. Thank-you to you all! — Donna McMahon, via Google
5. Docbraces Toronto
EXPERTISE | ★★★★★ |
CARE AND COMFORT | ★★★★☆ |
FACILITIES | ★★★★☆ |
CONVENIENCE | ★★★★☆ |
Established in 2003, Docbraces offers orthodontic technology, discreet treatment options, and flexible payment plans for children, teens, and adults. Their principle is that it is never too early or too late for one to achieve their dream smile.
They have locations spread across Canada and hold 3 office spaces in Toronto, with one being entirely dedicated for Invisalign treatments and procedures. This makes them accessible to the community.
We do note that the business hours of their clinics are not coordinated and some of them are closed during set weekends and/or weekdays.
Docbraces adheres to Canadian protocols in terms of treating patients. They follow the recommendation of only providing orthodontic evaluation to children ages 7 and up and administering treatments to teens ages 11-17.
We like how they take care of their patients by providing ideas not only in terms of orthodontic issues but also about aftercare. They provide tips down to recommended food after the procedure, appliances or accessories patients can get, and how to properly brush and floss depending on one’s teeth situation.
The only thing we can see this service improving on is the upkeep of its clinics. Some of them are too small for crowds and are not as updated as the others.
Overall, Docbraces made the cut because of their experience and the care and service they provide through various types of braces or Invisalign. They currently hold a collective 4.9 rating out of hundreds of reviews on Google.
Pros
- Almost 20 years experience
- 3 locations in Toronto
- Caring service
Cons
- Uncoordinated and inconsistent business hours
- Some clinics are too small (according to a few reviews)

Utmost care and attention
Dr. Metaxas and the Doc Braces team have gone over and above to provide exceptional orthodontic treatment to my daughter, in a warm, welcoming environment. Right from the initial consultation, to follow-up appointments, and now as my daughter is undergoing her treatment, they always take the time to thoroughly explain the next steps in the treatment plan and answer all of my questions. I am grateful for the way they have managed our unique circumstances with the utmost care and attention. — Melissa Simonetta, via Google
Great work every time I visit
I’ve been going to Dr. Mataxes since I was quite young. He did an amazing job with my braces that I had for 3 years and he continues his great work every time I visit. 6. OrthoSmiles
EXPERTISE | ★★★★★ |
CARE AND COMFORT | ★★★★☆ |
FACILITIES | ★★★★☆ |
CONVENIENCE | ★★★★☆ |
OrthoSmiles is one of the oldest dental services in Toronto. It was founded in 1978 and currently has two clinics within the area.
The business hours of their two clinics are exactly the same, except during Mondays. We also note that they are closed during weekends.
Their clinic leads, Dr. Brian Laski and Dr. Stacey Kirshenblatt, received three to four years of advanced specialty training on top of standard dental training.
Dr. Kirshenblatt is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only 1 out of 3 orthodontists in the United States holds this designation, which is quite impressive.
Dr. Laski is also a premier Invisalign provider, so getting an Invisalign from them wouldn’t be a major risk.
What we don’t appreciate about this service is that they sometimes spend too little time with patients. A few previous clients also tend to complain that they expected their initial consultation to be longer, given the charge.
OrthoSmiles is particularly known to treat children, but they can be considered as experts for adults as well. We especially like how they provide before and after photos of their patients’ teeth to show the quality of their service.
They offer all types of braces. Whether you are looking for metal, self-ligating, clear or ceramic, or lingual braces, OrthoSmiles can help you.
Pros
- More than 40 years experience
- Dentists have advanced special training
- Premier Invisalign provide
Cons
- Spends little time with customers during consultation
- Closed during weekends

Kind, knowledgeable and professional
Dr. Laski and his team are very kind, knowledgeable and professional. My son had to put braces on.
