Brianna HarrisonI have a confession: I’ve never been loyal to a dental facility. Unlike most people who have a favorite, I’ve always just gone to whichever was the most convenient at the time.
Admittedly, this means that the dental care I’ve received over the years has been pretty inconsistent. It’s been mostly decent, but there are also places I’ve sworn never to go to again.
My last visit definitely falls under the latter, which is why I finally decided to find a trustworthy office and just stick to it for good.
Thankfully, my wonderful friends and colleagues came through with recommendations for reliable dental clinics right here in Toronto.
How much do dental services cost in Toronto?
In Toronto, dental services typically cost around $100 to upwards of $1,500 for adults. Basic dental cleanings usually cost less than $200, while root canals can reach $1,000.
The final rate will depend on the complexity of the procedure.

Most patients stop feeling nervous the moment they walk into Parkview Family Dental Clinic. The receptionists are always so warm and welcoming that it’s hard not to feel at ease.
Similarly, the hygienists and dentists make the effort to gauge a client’s comfort level. Whether you’re in for extractions, implants, or Invisalign, they’ll thoroughly explain their process and do their best to be gentle.
We really recommend them for long-term care. After a comprehensive, hour-long dental exam, which includes x-rays, they can determine a tailored treatment plan and the ideal check-up schedule for you.
Unfortunately, there have been a few accounts saying they rush dental cleanings, which is something to consider if that’s your priority.
But on the bright side, they tend to be more meticulous with other procedures, especially when it comes to emergencies. And not only do they have extended hours, but they often accommodate same-day appointments in a pinch.

Waterview Family Dental Clinic has been established for over 20 years. Patients go to them for general care and cosmetic dental concerns.
Emergency or not, it’s easy to set an appointment with this facility. In fact, they can usually resolve painful root canals or distracting broken teeth on the same day that you inquire.
Waiting for your slot will be a breeze, thanks to their newly renovated facilities. You’ll have massage chairs, smart TVs, and an inviting reception area ready to welcome you at this clinic.
But the real highlight of this place is how gentle their experts are. So many people say that they almost fell asleep during the procedure, both for cleanings and root canals!
However, we also feel the need to warn you that it’s common for their practitioners to upsell. Although most don’t mind, this has made some clients feel pressured to get more procedures done in the past.

Plenty of patients noticed that their dental hygiene significantly improved after switching to Cityview Family Dental Clinic. The practitioners here thoroughly review each and every customer’s dental history to create personalized treatment strategies.
This level of care is why locals have been going to them for over a decade. It even starts with the reception area, optimized for relaxation with its TVs and complimentary beverages.
The dentists are very concerned with their clients’ comfort as well, considering they always try to explain what’s happening to avoid any stress or apprehension during procedures.
And regardless of whether you’re getting your teeth whitened, oral surgery, or TMJ pain treatments, we like that they constantly check in to see if you’re okay to continue.
Sadly, the front desk can be disorganized when it’s time to settle payments. Just know that it might take them a while to sort things out, especially if it involves insurance.

Torontonians loved Harbour Dental Centre so much that they had to expand to 3 locations across the city just to keep up with the demand.
It’s easy to see why people like it here — the facility is essentially a one-stop shop. Cleanings, bridges, extractions, and Invisaligns are just a few of their most popular offerings.
Their experts are very understanding throughout any procedure. They know that some people are scared of the dentist, so they’re usually patient and reassuring.
Apart from this, we can tell that they care about their clients based on how they consistently go above and beyond. They won’t hesitate to contact your benefits provider on your behalf, just to make things seamless during your appointment.
A word of advice, though: make sure to check receipts before you leave. In the past, they’ve accidentally billed wrong items for several clients, which they thankfully amended after it was brought to their attention.

From pediatric care to periodontics, The Richmond Dental Centre has highly skilled dentists and specialists who can resolve a wide range of concerns.
Their clients love the practitioners for how attentive they are during appointments. Apart from being thorough, they’ll also carefully explain procedures, along with possible side effects, to avoid any nasty surprises.
We really appreciate that they take emergencies seriously as well. Based on what we’ve heard, they typically schedule patients in pain within an hour of their call.
The clinic is very well-equipped. Not only do they have the latest dental technology, but they also have thoughtful amenities, like TVs on the ceiling, just so their patients can be extra comfortable in a dental chair.
Now, when it comes to payment, you’ll have nothing to worry about if it’s covered by insurance. But if you’re paying out of pocket, you should know that their rates are more expensive than most clinics.
