They also have a kid-friendly selection of non-alcoholic beer like the Jelly King: Raspberry & Blackberry, which has a blend of sweet and sour flavours.

The Aviary Brewpub is one of our favourite family-friendly sports-themed breweries. Located near the West Don Lands, this place isn’t too busy and it sports a retro yet modern vibe.
It’s a great place for children, as the brewery serves homemade fruit popsicles which are great for hot summer days. Children can enjoy dishes from the kids’ menu, like the classic PB&J sandwich and a hearty grilled cheese & tomato soup tandem.
The best thing about this brewery is its selection of entertainment options. There’s a pool table and an arcade machine, where kids can play retro games like Maximum Hangtime – an old NBA game.
Pro tip:
We recommend trying their Cracker Jacques, which is a mix of popcorn and peanuts slathered in caramel. It also comes with a baseball card trinket featuring players from different teams like the Toronto Blue Jays.

If you aren’t sure which beer to order, the brewery offers some free samples! Try out any of their available drinks like ciders and beers before making a purchase.

Steam Whistle Biergarten, located in the historic Roundhouse Park, was a former railway land before it was renovated into a park in 1997.
Surrounded by Roundhouse Park, kids can leave the brewery and explore the former trainyard if they get bored. You don’t need to worry about safety, as the majority of train tracks around the park are just for show.
Their peanut butter s’mores jar is a delightful treat with the right amount of sweetness. It’s our favourite dessert to eat while observing the beautiful scenery of Roundhouse Park and the CN Tower from the brewery’s patio.
Pro tip:
After getting some drinks, you can visit the Toronto Railway Museum, which you can also find inside Roundhouse Park. You and your children can explore locomotives and try out a train simulator together.

Amsterdam Brewhouse is so family-friendly that it seems more like a restaurant with the variety of food and drinks they serve.
The brewhouse is quite large and has more than enough space to accommodate a stroller, making it great for families with young infants. There are also lots of television sets playing live sports matches for you to watch while enjoying a pint of beer.
When it comes to dining, you can never go wrong with their juicy brisket sandwich, which is oozing with brisket juice and comes with fries. We also recommend ordering their brisket mac & cheese, which is popular with the kids!
Pro tip:
We recommend getting a seat on their patio that sits above the water. Not only does it give you an awesome view of the waterfront but it’s also a great place to take family photos.

Unlike most breweries, this place has an open-air setup, as it was once a gas station. The space is packed with trees, making it a great space to hang out during the afternoon.
They have an extensive selection of beer and serve some creative dishes that you can’t find elsewhere. Our must-tries are the Daily Commute, which is a light-bodied stout with coffee flavours; and their beer-battered cheese curds, which come with a mayo dip.
Pro tip:
One dish you don’t want to miss is the bison burger. This burger has 6 oz ground bison meat, brioche, aged cheddar, and a tangy pink peppercorn onion jam.
