My aunt recently moved to Toronto. She’s always dressed to the nines—unlike me, whose idea of dressing up is wearing jeans without holes.
While helping her unpack, I asked her where she got her fabulous clothes.
“Consignment stores, darling,” she said with a wink. “In fact, you should show me where the best ones are in town.”
Cue my confused expression—I mean, consignment what? Thankfully, my trusty local pals came to the rescue with the inside scoop on the top consignment stores in Toronto.
Turns out, these shops are gold mines for those looking to score some unique fashionista finds (or sell theirs for a price!).
Long story short, I was able to help my aunt out big time. And now, I’m passing on the torch to you—here are the best consignment shops in Toronto that’ll have you looking like Bella Hadid in no time!
How much do consignment stores in Toronto charge?
In Toronto, the consignment fee ranges from 30-50%. Factors such as the item’s value and demand may influence the percentage.
It’s a good idea to check the store’s policy before you buy or sell anything.

3. Repeat Boutique
Repeat Boutique is an upscale ladies’ consignment shop that has been a staple since 1998, offering a curated selection of new and gently used clothing and accessories.
They only accept designer garments less than two years old, ensuring you’ll find pieces that are clean, pressed, and in top-notch condition.
We noticed that there’s something for every fashionista. They have everything from modern, classic, and vintage clothing to shoes, and bags from brands like Louis Vuitton, BCBG, Bulgari, Chloe, and Burberry.
We also commend the shop’s owner who goes the extra mile—from pulling out pieces that fit your style to posting Instagram videos of new items in-store.
And if you’re looking to consign your own items, they offer a fair deal with consignors receiving 50% of the selling price once their articles are sold. As a bonus, payouts are sent electronically for convenience.

4. Rewind Couture
Rewind Couture is a designer resale store that offers a wide selection of 100% authentic designer items, from clothes and purses to shoes and jewelry.
We like that they purchase authentic designer pieces outright, offering 30% of their in-store prices via cheque at the time of drop-off.
Unlike other shops, they accept authentic current-style handbags on consignment, offering competitive rates based on the item’s popularity and condition.
We also noticed the diverse range of designers they carry— from Gucci and Prada to Stella McCartney, Rewind Couture has something for every fashion lover.
The owner’s keen eye for fashion ensures that the shop is beautifully curated with an eclectic mix of quirky, edgy, and high-end pieces, many of which are true works of art.

Rewind is the only place to shop in Toronto
“Rewind is the only place to shop in Toronto. Over the past few years, my wardrobe has become exclusively Rewind. The selection is unparalleled, the pieces are so unique and the staff are always friendly and willing to pull pieces for you. I always look forward to going to Rewind and am constantly looking at their social media for new drops. Dawn and her team are attentive and talented and I often find myself leaving with pieces that they pulled just for me. No need to shop anywhere else! Rewind is the best!”
Mackenzie Birbrager, Google Review
5. Designer Exchange
Since 2016, Designer Exchange has been promoting sustainable luxury in their neighborhood by offering high-quality luxury consignment items.
Customers love their fantastic eye for selecting the best pieces from high-end and medium-designer brands. They carry brands like Burberry, MCM, Gucci, Chanel, Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton, and Prada.
Although we thought the store is a bit small, the layout is clean, and there’s still a good flow for browsing.
You can also shop and consign with confidence with Entrupy-authenticated items. And you even have the option to review pieces with no appointment necessary.
Consignors receive 50% of the final selling price, except for select-style handbags, where the commission split is negotiable. We think this seems pretty fair.
We did hear about their somewhat ambivalent and rude staff, but these are isolated incidents.
Pros
- 8 years of experience
- Clean layout with a good flow
- High-end and medium designer brands
- Entrupy-authenticated items
- No appointment necessary
- Consignors receive 50%
Cons

My all time favourite consignment store in all of Toronto!!
“This is my all time favourite consignment store in all of Toronto!! Nyla and her team get the most amazing pieces in all of the time, and it’s never over picked like you would find in some of the downtown shops. Prices are always fair, and the staff are consistently cool, friendly and knowledgable on the brands. Nyla is an absolute FORCE when it comes to curating that shop with amazingly cute lil vintage bags and the most adorable and gorg pieces.”
Georgia Morris, Google Review
Incredible prices on designer items
“This store has incredible prices on designer items and the staff is amazing, especially Andy! He is always such a great help!”

6. Around The Block
Founded by Warren Hales, Around The Block started small but quickly outgrew its space, moving to a 7,000-square-foot warehouse at Leslie. So far, they’ve hooked up with over 10,000 consignors in its 7-year stint at this spot.
Their spacious showroom has high-quality new and vintage furniture, rugs, china, and designer fashion items like scarves, jewelry, and luxury bags. From artwork to lighting, seating to dinnerware, we also found unique knick-knacks.
We do love their generous consignment terms – consignors receive a generous 60% of the selling price as opposed to other consignment shops giving only 50%.
On the other hand, some customers have reported encountering rude people who work there and finding overpriced merchandise.
Pros
- Over 7 years of experience
- 7000-square foot warehouse
- Had over 10,000 consignors
- High-quality new and vintage items
- Consignors receive 60%

Best consignment shop in the city
“I never miss a trip to this place whenever I’m in Toronto. If it isn’t the best consignment shop in the city, I’m not aware of which is. Been a loyal customer for over 15 years, even when they were at their previous location. A definite destination.”
ali shaygan, Google Review
As a consignor, they were helpful, efficient, and honest
“Around The Block knows their pieces and knows their customers. My experience as a consignor was that they were helpful, efficient, and honest. I was very pleased with the service and outcome and would certainly recommend ATB.”

7. Second Nature Boutique
Second Nature Boutique has a heartwarming backstory that goes way back—almost half a century! It was started by Ruth Silverberg, a supermom who knew the value of sharing clothes to keep her vibe professional on a budget.
Fast forward, her daughter Kary’s now running the show, keeping the spirit alive.
You’ll find some real gems here—high-end threads, shoes, bags, and bling, both new and gently used, all at prices that won’t make you wince.
Keep in mind that you’ll need to book an appointment for consignments now—no more drop-ins.
Thinking of consigning a designer bag? Bring the receipts if you’ve got ’em, but if not, they’ll authenticate it for you, but you’ll foot the bill.
If you’ve got any fancy boxes or bags lying around, bring those too for extra brownie points!
Remember, however, that consignors only get 45% of the cut for clothes and shoes, which might sting a bit when other places offer more.
Pros
- Over 50 years of experience
- Specializes in gently-used high-end pieces
- Accepts designer bag
- Higher prices for items that come with boxes or bags
- Can provide authentication services
Cons
- Consignors only get 45%

“I adore Second Nature Boutique and have been shopping here with my mom for 17 years (since I was 16 years old!). I find their selection a great balance between designer, and more affordable, high quality items that I can’t get elsewhere. I also love the mother/daughter duo who make every visit feel positive and familiar.”

8. VSP Consignment
VSP Consignment, the brainchild of Britt Rawlinson, is like the cool kid on the luxury consignment block. Since 2013, this Toronto hotspot has been a go-to for fashionistas near and far.
Unlike other consignment shops, they’re not just about the big designer names—you’ll find a mix of high-end labels and cool vintage pieces from the likes of Gap and Club Monaco. It’s all about the vibe, according to Britt.
Beyond clothes, VSP has become a part of the community, building relationships with consignors and shoppers alike. They’re also dipping their toes into film and TV partnerships.
They take authentication seriously, doing in-house research to make sure every piece is the real deal. And, they’ve teamed up with Entrupy for brands like Hermès and Chanel.
Got your eye on something but need a little time to pay? No problem—VSP offers an interest-free layaway option.
We did hear some complaints about their consignment policy.
Pros
- Over a decade of experience
- Does not exclusively carry designer labels
- Has film and TV partnerships
- In-house authentication available
- Has an interest-free layaway option
Cons
- Complaints about their consignment policy
VSP is my go-to for all of my designer purchases
“VSP is my go-to for all of my designer purchases. My Louis Vuitton St. Onge came in pristine condition, like new, as did my Chloe Susannah dude boots. I can always expect I will receive a high quality product at the best pricing available. Love VSP and the online styling is so good.”
Tiffany Hoffman, Google Review
Definitely a hidden gem in Toronto!
“Definitely a hidden gem in Toronto! This store is well organized by colours and categories. You can find various styles of clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories. The price range also seemed fair compared to the quality of the item. One of the employees who helped me with the payment was very friendly and made me feel relieved. She had a long straight blonde hair. Thank you again! I’d love to visit with my friends next time.”
Jojo, Google Review
9. Consign Toronto
Consign Toronto is filled with designer finds we never knew we needed. With three floors packed to the brim with goodies from big names like Dior, Balenciaga, and Gucci, there’s something for everyone here.
Whether you’re after men’s or women’s fashion, accessories, bags, jewelry, or shoes, founder Dag Larsen’s got you covered. With a keen eye for style, Consign Toronto boasts labels at prices that won’t break the bank.
The best part? No appointment is needed, and you can score up to 70% back on your items if you’re consigning.
We love their Big Blowout section online with discounts of up to 80%. Markdowns range from $100 to $30 or even $500 to $200, so there’s plenty of variety to snag a steal.
But, some fake items slipping through the cracks were reported to us along with a lack of responsiveness via email and phone.
Pros
- Specializes in designer goods
- Huge markdowns
- Consignors can get up to 70%
- Has a Big Blowout section online
Cons
- Reports of fake items
- Lack of responsiveness

Found fabulous timeless items
“I have found more fabulous timeless items at Consign Toronto than any other consignment store in the city. Not only that, but I always enjoy the shopping experience! The staff listen to what you are looking for and are magicians at finding items that I couldn’t even possibly dream up! Blazers seem to be my jackpot in the store, however I have also lucked out with some very unique and special belts as well. The pricing is fair and at times dreamy (marked down or negotiable). Definitely worth the trip 🙂 Enjoy!!!”

10. Fashionably Yours
Fashionably Yours was opened over a year and a half ago by celebrity stylist and fashion blogger Janet Han. Her experience styling celebrities like Keshia and Rihanna inspired her to create a space that caters to a younger demographic.
The store has earned praise, being called the “Best Store in the City” by Global TV News, which we think is pretty cool.
We saw designer pieces from brands like Hermes, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton, alongside streetwear and unique finds for both men and women.
Consignors split the proceeds 50/50. Also, all items are authenticated by a third-party service before hitting the sales floor.
What we find cool is they offer a lifetime 100% authenticity money-back guarantee not offered by other shops.
To top it off, they offer worldwide free shipping on purchases over $100.
Unfortunately, we heard reports of customer service being subpar.
Pros
- Owned by a celebrity stylist
- Recognized by Global TV News
- Offers designer pieces and unique finds
- Consignors get 50%
- Lifetime 100% authenticity money-back guarantee
- Free shipping worldwide for over $100
Cons
- Subpar customer service
Great selections of high quality items for women AND men
“Great selections of high quality items for women AND men – my husband and I each were happily occupied looking and trying out items, which is rare! The staff were very helpful and quickly hung up our items in the fitting rooms, which were spacious. Clean and well laid out store, and an overall very good shopping experience. Bought a pair of trousers from the sales rack and was very happy with my purchase!”
Bridgette Bi, Google Review
Fantastic consignment store
“Fantastic consignment store. Have gotten amazing finds here at great prices and my wife has a good experience consigning here as well. The staff are always super helpful and accommodating too! Highly recommend. The selection of womenswear and shoes is generally good, but they also have a larger selection of men’s items compared to a lot of consignment shops I’ve visited. I’ve gotten good pieces from Zegna, Balmain, Gucci, Prada and also good deals on less expensive brands like APC, Club Monaco, Theory, etc.”
