Aliu IsaI consider myself extremely lucky to have a very clingy cat. Unlike most of the felines I’ve seen, mine loves cuddles and is always very sweet.
The one time I’ve ever seen her hiss was when I tried to give her a bath. It was as if something possessed her. After receiving some scratches, she calmed down, and I swore that I’d never attempt to do that again.
One of my friends suggested that I bring my pet to a grooming service. I was honestly hesitant at first, thinking my poor cat would just be overwhelmed. But to my surprise, the groomer said that my kitty was incredibly well-behaved during her appointment.
Since then, I’ve told every pet owner I know to save themselves the trouble and just bring their furry friend to a trusted pet grooming place, especially because Toronto has a ton of great ones.

This knack comes in handy for grooming cats and dogs, especially when owners opt for premium services. That’s when they add sanitary and nail trims, as well as spa treatments, to the standard bath and blow dry.
Out of all of these offerings, we were most impressed with their very precise styling talents. It’s not easy to consistently replicate the cut that owners want, but they hit the mark every time.
And the best part is that they take videos of their process to send to clients. It’s really effective in giving them peace of mind regarding their pets’ well-being.
Just make sure to double-check appointments before coming. Some people arrive only to find out that their session was cancelled without warning.

Fur Bar only uses the most gentle grooming equipment for their furry clients. All the products they use are natural and hypoallergenic, making them ideal for pets with sensitive skin.
Although most clients go to them for a full groom, which includes bathing, trimming, and ear cleaning, they also have special services for specific cases. Some examples of this are de-skunking or a de-greaser package for oily coats.
We like that they also offer haircut options for cats, such as a lion trim or a teddy bear cut, depending on the look that you want. They’ll even shape your kitty’s tail according to what you find the cutest.
Because of these, they’ve become pretty popular. Yet they still accommodate walk-ins most of the time. They’ll even squeeze you in for a rush job as long as there’s a groomer available.
The only downside is that they have hidden fees that end up surprising customers.

This lovely location managed to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment before the holidays and while it was my first visit, it certainly won’t be my last. Jen took amazing care of my toy poodle and I felt totally heard and understood in our short consultation. There are complimentary refreshments available in the waiting area, and they even surprised me with a Christmas themed photo shoot with Christmas card for my pup when she was finished. PrattsandPaws can give any pet a complete makeover from head to tail. Not only do they provide neat cuts and safe nail trims, but your fur baby will also come out smelling divine.
Based on what we’ve heard, their groomers are knowledgeable about different breeds and conditions. They’re great at tackling delicate coats and can also spot medical problems before they worsen.
We’re confident that you don’t have to worry about your pets’ safety either, considering that their experts are trained first aid providers. It’s why other clients go to them for pet sitting and pet boarding services as well.
All of their packages are available at very reasonable rates. It’s honestly hard to beat their prices.
They just have to update their website more often, since their booking system isn’t always accurate. Take it from us, it’s much better to schedule an appointment over the phone.

“Had a great first groom with Pratts. Brought my cat, Chewie in for a full bath and lion’s cut. I asked for a short mane as Chewie is a messy eater and tends to get food stuck in his mane. We love that they also have special in-depth packages for certain dog breeds, like Chow Chows and Samoyeds, which are notoriously hard to groom.
Sadly, this level of expertise doesn’t come cheap. Expect to face some pricey rates if you decide to bring your furry companion here.
