My sister asked me to babysit her toddler twins for almost a week. I happily accepted (because they’re so cute!), but as a single gal, I didn’t know many places to bring them.
They love to play but are allergic to pollen, so I turned to my momma friends for advice on the best indoor playgrounds in the city.
Thankfully, they came through with some solid recommendations.
So, if you’re on the hunt for fun and safe indoor play spaces, let me share the best indoor playgrounds in Toronto that locals (and my nephews) love!
How much does it cost to play in an indoor playground in Toronto?
The cost of playing in an indoor playground in Toronto typically ranges from $10 to $25 per child. Prices can vary based on the facility’s size, location, and included amenities.
Special activities, events, or extended playtime may also affect the cost but note that membership options and group rates can offer discounts.
How We Chose the Best Indoor Playgrounds in Toronto
1. Jump for Joy Play Centre
My nephews enjoyed their time at Jump for Joy Play Centre.
I learned that during the week, they offer drop-in play and parent relief, which is a lifesaver, while on weekends, they hold full-service birthday parties.
The center itself is fantastic. My nephews had a blast with the pretend playhouses with real-life switches and doorbells, air hockey, skee ball, basketball hoops, and interactive games.
They also offer various camps and PA Days so that everyone can enjoy the two-floor play space and snacks. There’s even a fun pizza party every Friday!
Parents aren’t left out either—there’s a modern kitchenette with phone charging stations and free Wi-Fi. Meaning, you can capture all those picture-perfect moments while sipping on free coffee or organic tea.
And their two bathrooms on the same floor, complete with change tables and kid-sized sinks and toilets, is a big plus for potty-training parents.
Note that they’re closed on weekends.

- Wide range of play structures and toys
- Offers various camps and PA Days
- Pizza party every Friday
- Modern kitchenette with free coffee and tea
- Phone charging stations and free Wi-Fi

What began as a fun play space turned into home away from home
“Where to even begin? What we began taking our children to as a fun play space turned into home away from home. The space is always immaculately clean (somehow even with tiny humans wreaking havoc all around!) and we are always greeted with excitement by the staff. Reasonable prices, age appropriate toys for all ages of little ones and the free coffee is a cherry on top. We are so grateful for this space in our neighborhood!”

Fun and safe space for my toddler
“Fun and safe space for my toddler. The staff was super sweet and helpful, they locked up my stroller and brought it inside when I was ready to leave. The place is very fun and many areas to engage your kiddo. Would definitely return and recommend.”
2. Kids Fun Town
Kids Fun Town is a 3000-square-foot indoor playground, which is fully heated and cooled year-round, making it a perfect spot no matter the weather. Plus, it’s only a one-minute walk from the Woodbine subway station.
My nephews loved the inflatable bouncy castle, the climbing tower, and the basketball game. There are also ride-on toys and various other play structures, all best suited for kids under 6.
They even have a separate toddler area with perfect play equipment for the littlest ones.
In terms of hygiene, an attendant mentioned that they use an eco-friendly, non-toxic, anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Once the toys are scrubbed and rinsed, they sanitize them with an approved product.
Kids Fun Town also excels at hosting birthday parties. They offer one-stop party packages that include food, a birthday cake with candles, sweets, loot bags, balloon bouquets, and face painting.
Just keep in mind that a $250 non-refundable deposit is required for all party bookings.

Clean, childproof space full of fun things to do for kids
“This is a clean, childproof space full of fun things to do for kids. It’s spacious and parents can enjoy food and coffee while easily keeping an eye out for their kids on the open space (and surveillance cameras on a screen if they go up the structure). The owner is super friendly, accommodating, and does a great job keeping the party going for you. He and his staff would time the pizza, organize the cake cutting and song, clean and bundle up everything for you, and get the kids together for a group photo to indicate the end of the party. We love this place and the kids all have such a blast every time!”

Immaculately clean and I loved how safe it was
“I came with a few friends and we all had the BEST time. Kids Fun Town is immaculately clean and I loved how safe it was for my 15 month old. We enjoyed every station (and so did I). The absolute perfect place to hang out for a morning or afternoon. I am definitely booking my daughter’s 2nd bday there too!! Can’t wait to go back :)”

3. Extreme Fun Indoor Playground
Extreme Fun Indoor Playground is a Toronto family entertainment center that offers daily play from Monday to Friday. It’s specifically designed for kids aged 1 to 10.
The 5500-square-foot facility features an impressive 15-foot play structure with a variety of activities.
My nephews especially loved the giant jumping castle, the dress-up corner, and the air hockey and foosball tables. They also had a blast shooting hoops at the basketball nets.
While the kids played, I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee in their cozy cafe.
Extreme Fun also offers exciting birthday party packages, starting from a very reasonable $345, which is cheaper compared to other indoor playgrounds. And the party deposit is only $200.
They have free parking too, which is a huge plus.
However, the place is not very accessible—there are no automatic door openers or grab bars in the bathrooms.
Pros
- Specifically designed for kids aged 1 to 10
- 5500-square-foot facility with a 15-foot play structure
- Several play areas
- Has a cafe
- Affordable birthday party packages
- Lower party deposit
- Free parking
Cons
- Lacks accessibility features
I can’t say enough good things about this place!!
“I can’t say enough good things about this place!! one stop shop – the best and easiest birthdays you will ever book/host! I have booked many parties that all three owners have helped me, they help with the decor, loot bags, serving kids and guiding them so everyone sings happy birthday to the birthday boy (as in my case I have all boys). It is harder then you think to get so many kids to follow suit; but Niki with her mega phone gets the job done! Thank You Niki!! What i love the MOST about this place is its wide/open concept. I have been to other indoor playgrounds and I have felt like i was suffocating.. this is 1000% not the case with Extreme Fun, high ceilings and wide open spaces allow for you to mingle with your guests, kids to run around playing, all while you feel like you can breath and be at ease! Also, I have to say for sure the cleanest and most tidy of any other indoor playground I have seen. If i could give this place more then 5 stars I would!”

Fantastic space, lots of fun things for a wide age range
“Fantastic space, lots of fun things for a wide age range. Everything is about as safe as it can possibly be. Big bouncy castle, lots of slides, toys, climbing space, and a big eating area. Parking is easy and it’s extremely reasonably priced.”

4. Happy Planet
Happy Planet is an ideal place for kids to burn off some energy and get creative. We went on a weekday, so we got a solid 3 hours of playtime (it’s 2.5 hours on weekends).
The play areas are fantastic—bright, spacious, and super imaginative–with an area just for toddlers. The boys loved pretending to shop in the mini supermarket, trying their luck at the claw machines, and sliding down the fun slides.
While they played, I grabbed a coffee at the onsite cafe—so convenient!
I noticed that monthly and quarterly passes are available for kids below 3, which is great if you plan to come often.
My sister is considering a party here, especially with the 20% weekday discount and 10% off morning parties. They also offer memberships and a kids’ summer camp.
Just a heads up, party packages are a bit pricey. And for anyone planning to visit, definitely book your time slot in advance since walk-ins aren’t guaranteed.
Pros
- Bright, spacious, and super imaginative
- Has an onsite cafe
- Monthly and quarterly passes are available
- Party package discounts
- Three different party space options
- Offers memberships and a kids’ summer camp
Cons
- Pricey
- Book ahead for guaranteed slots

Everything is so colorful and cute
“Love this place, everything is so colorful and cute and the party packages are very reasonable pricing. The owner and staffs there are very helpful in maintaining the area. They even have after school program and summer camp too, totally a different type of indoor playground you can’t find out there. And the best part is it’s just down the street where I live making it super convenient to hang out with my kids. My kids loved it here, and will have their Birthday Party here! I highly recommend this place!”

5. Midtown’s Tiny Tots
Midtown’s Tiny Tots has been a family-owned spot since 2010, and you can really feel their dedication to creating a warm, nurturing environment for kids. That’s probably why they’ve won several Toronto Star Readers’ Choice and Top Choice Awards
Their facilities are top-notch, with a spacious indoor playground, slides, and a cozy reading nook.
They cater to kids from infants to pre-kindergarten, offering child care and educational classes. For instance, they have a great Kindergarten Readiness program for those not quite ready for school.
I love their part-time drop-off program—it’s perfect for helping kids develop independence and confidence before starting school.
For the budget-conscious, their online discounts and packages are a nice bonus.
For those celebrating their kids’ birthdays, they offer unique setups like a glow-in-the-dark dance party, And they handle everything—from setup to cleanup—so you can just enjoy the moment.
My only gripe is that they can be a bit slow to respond to queries and calls.
Pros
- Over a decade of experience
- Won several awards
- Top-notch play facilities
- Offers child care and educational classes
- Has a part-time drop-off program
- Online discounts and birthday packages
Cons
- Lack of responsiveness
Had the best experience at Midtown Tiny Tots!
“Had the best experience at Midtown Tiny Tots! Had my son’s 3rd birthday here. Monice, Dwayne and family were amazing and so helpful! The playroom is so clean, organized and had amazing hands on toys and centers for kids to learn and have fun. Everyone had an amazing time and were so impressed with the space and how the party was run. I couldn’t be happier with this party experience, I highly recommend!!”
