They let you customize colours and hardware, so you’ll easily match the new door to your home’s exterior design.

Our team actually requested a quote from them last month using their contactless 3D rendering tool. They sent us a detailed estimate within twenty-four hours without stepping foot inside our office.

They also offer flexible financing through Financeit. This helps if you need to manage your budget over time.

However, their team sometimes struggles with communication preferences. A few customers received unwanted phone calls after explicitly asking for email updates.

Also, some past clients noticed minor wall damage around the door frame during installation.

Pros

  • Over 70 years of installation experience
  • Fast contactless quotes via 3D rendering
  • Flexible financing with no property liens
  • Broad choice of steel and wood designs

Cons

  • Minor wall damage reported
  • Occasional mix-ups with communication preferences

The door looks great and we are very happy with it

Today we had our front door installed by Jesus and his crew.  They arrived on time and did an excellent job.  The door looks great and we are very happy with it.  Mr. and Mrs. Sagolili

The work in all areas was excellent

We used this company to install some new windows, new front door, new shutters, new tin work on entire exterior, new soffit, new fascia and new roof. There were some frustrating moments dealing with supply issues with covid. Could they of done a better job commutating those delays? Probably. Was the work done really well? Absolutely. Their sales rep John was fantastic including having our roof replaced within 2 days of water damage to our newly renovated interior of the house. Their prices are competitive and the work in all areas was excellent. Recommend for sure. Thanks John!

They also offer custom architectural trims to complete the classic look. If you’re looking to make a strong first impression, their custom double wood doors can add a warm, timeless feel to your entrance.

  • Family-owned for over 16 years

Cons

  • Wood may split or separate
  • Exterior caulking may cost extra

Couldn’t be happier with the results

Atfi and his crew are top notch.  We had an oversize wood door custom built and installed on our front entrance, couldn’t be happier with the results.  As with our weather here and the effects on wood, naturally you should expect some issues with expansion/contraction on doors closing – Northwood responded immediately and fixed our issues next day!  Highly recommended.

So happy with our gorgeous new front door

From start to finish we were so impressed with the service and quality at Northwood Doors.  They were so accommodating and helpful with suggestions on design and finishing.  The service was excellent, but the finished product is just stunning.  Beautiful workmanship, attention to detail and we are so happy with our gorgeous new front door.
