5 Best Float Tanks in Toronto That’ll Make You Forget the World Exists

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

There I was, completely fried after a crazy week—work deadlines, social commitments, and my never-ending to-do list. I needed a serious break.

Then I remembered something a friend mentioned: float tanks. You basically float in a giant pod of saltwater, and the world just disappears for a while.

So, I decided to dive in (pun intended!) and try it out. Spoiler alert: it was exactly what I needed.

After a few calls and trips around town, I came up with a list of the best float tanks in Toronto. If you’re ready to feel like a new person, these spots are where you want to be!

Float tank sessions in Toronto generally range between $50 and $90 per session. The costdepends on the center, the length of the session, and whether any additional services (like massages or sauna access) are included.
Some spots offer package deals, memberships, or first-time discounts, which can help bring the price down if you’re planning to float regularly.

How We Chose the Best Float Tank Services in Toronto

Competitive Pricing: We compared the cost of float tank services across different centers in Toronto, looking for those that provide a balance between affordability and a high-quality experience.
Customer Reviews: We focused on float centers with consistently positive reviews about the cleanliness of the tanks, the overall relaxation experience, and staff friendliness.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: We prioritized facilities that maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring that float tanks and rooms are sanitized after each use.
Wellness Expertise: We evaluated the expertise of the staff in providing not only float tank sessions but also any additional wellness services like massage or infrared saunas.
Variety of Float Tanks: We sought out centers that offer a range of tank styles—such as pods, float rooms, or open pools—to cater to different comfort levels and preferences.
Ambiance and Atmosphere: We looked for float centers that create a calming, peaceful atmosphere with relaxing decor, low lighting, and post-float relaxation areas to enhance the experience.

Really great value for money

“I had such a wonderful & relaxing experience here. The guy working was super kind and helpful, he made sure I knew where everything was and what to expect. Really great value for money & promotional pricing for multiple float packages. Love the lounging area and the vanity in the back to freshen up after. Will definitely be coming more regularly.”

Wish we had tried it years ago!!

“A friend and I tried Float for the first time and wish we had tried it years ago!! It was such a relaxing and healing experience. The person at the desk was warm and welcoming, and answered all our questions. Once I felt comfortable in the float tank, I turned off the lights and sound. The room and water were a comfortable temperature. I found that with the tank door open, body parts above water felt relatively cooler (of course!). As someone sensitive to cooler temperatures, I kept my hands and feet under the surface and had no issues. Next time I’ll try it with the tank door closed, as it didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. I also love that their shampoos and lotions were all thoughtfully sourced. I can’t wait to go again!!”

Ambiance at Sante Spa was tranquil and welcoming

“I recently visited Sante Spa and indulged in their salt float therapy, which was an extraordinary experience. The sensation was akin to floating in the Dead Sea, with the tank filled with kilos of salt that effortlessly kept me buoyant. This unique experience was incredibly relaxing, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated as the weightlessness allowed my stress to melt away.

My package also included a massage therapy session, which was expertly done and added to the overall sense of relaxation. The therapist’s skillful hands worked out all the tension in my body, leaving me revitalized and refreshed.
