A buddy of mine recently got rear-ended—nothing major, but his car’s paint job took a serious hit. He wanted to get it fixed up but had no clue where to go.
So, I started asking around and dug into my network of car enthusiasts to find the best car paint shops in Toronto. After a few calls and visits, we finally found a place that was ready to take on the challenge and bring his ride back to its former glory.
Whether your ride needs a fresh coat or you just want to jazz things up, we’re showcasing the top-rated car paint shops in Toronto that’ll make your wheels shine!
How much does car painting cost in Toronto?
Car painting in Toronto costs $500 to $1,500 for a basic paint job and $2,000 to $10,000 for more high-end or custom work.
The final cost of car painting varies widely depending on the extent of the work required, the type of paint used, and the reputation of the shop.
Additionally, factors like the make and model of your car, the complexity of the paint job, and any additional services (such as detailing or bodywork) can influence the final cost.

Went beyond what I expected
“A sloppy driver hit one of the doors on my car in a parking lot and it scraped the paint down to the metal at the point of impact. Pro Color was the shop I was directed to and I got to say, they did more of a good job, really went beyond what I expected. The paint job looked like it was taken from a grand piano or something when I first saw the car. They even added extra detailing work which I was surprised to come back to. They’re all cool people in there, shoutout to ProColor”

They went above and beyond for the job
“I was referred to MAACO by a friend, Mario and his team didn’t disappoint at all.
