Step 1: Apply for a Marriage Licence
You have to be at least 16 years old and have two valid government-issued IDs to apply for a marriage licence, which can be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.
Appointments can be made online or by phoning 416-392-7000. The application costs $160 and is valid for three months from the date of issuance.
