We love their marinated AAA striploin, served with a rich, house-made shallot sauce and a side of crispy frites and fresh mixed greens. The sauces are made in-house with a veal-based stock, giving the dish an extra layer of flavor.
And for dessert, their tarte tatin is an absolute must-try. This caramelized upside-down apple tart is perfectly sweet and just big enough to share (if you’re feeling generous!).

Barberian’s provides a truly luxurious steakhouse experience. It’s a Toronto institution beloved by locals and celebrities, like Matty Matheson, alike.
People—including us—love their rib steak, available in 16 oz or 24 oz portions. It’s served with sour cream, feta, homemade bacon bits, and fresh chopped chives. And don’t forget to add a side of crispy fries to make it a steak frites.
One of the reasons their steaks are so exceptional is their seasoning blend, a mixture of sea salts, garlic, onion, fine herbs, and spices that is low in sodium and free of preservatives or MSG. You can purchase the seasoning to enjoy at home.
Pro Tip:
Barberian’s is also a great choice for special occasions. It has five lovely private rooms with different themes, accommodating 6 to 40 guests.
