There I was, about three months deep into my New Year’s resolution to finally get fit (again) when it hit me—jogging around the neighborhood just wasn’t doing the trick. I needed something with more kick, something that would actually get me excited to move.
Now, I’m no stranger to working out, but spin classes? Those were uncharted waters.
So, I embarked on a mission—I hit up my fit friends, forced them to join a few classes with me, and made a list of all the best spin classes in Toronto.
From studios with playlists that could rival any nightclub to instructors who somehow make you want to push through that last brutal set, you’re bound to find the perfect class for you.
How much do spin classes cost in Toronto?
Spin classes in Toronto cost $20 to $35 per class, depending on the studio, the package you purchase, and any special amenities or features offered.
However, many studios offer class packs or memberships that can reduce the cost per class significantly. Usually, a 10-class pack might cost around $180 to $300, while unlimited monthly memberships can range from $150 to $250.

Just a heads-up, though—classes fill up quickly, so it’s a good idea to book them early.
Team is so friendly and supportive
“I had the most amazing time! I’ve never gone to a spin class before and always wanted to. I did three classes for three days straight, each with a different member of staff. Everyone brings a different vibe, but all we’re amazing in their own unique ways as instructors. The team is so friendly and supportive and I felt very welcome as a newcomer. The music was an added bonus”

3. RIDE CYCLE CLUB Ossington
If you’re after a no-nonsense, hardcore spin class, RIDE CYCLE CLUB is where you might want to be.
This studio keeps it simple and intense with a minimalist vibe. Picture this: you, in a dark room, music cranked up, totally lost in the ride—it’s all about zoning in.
Continuing this intense theme, their classes are designed to challenge you—great for people looking for a more serious workout focused on endurance and mental grit.
Can’t make it to the studio? No problem—they offer virtual classes, both on and off the bike, with new sessions added weekly!
Regular customers we’ve talked to say they love the community here—everyone encourages each other to push their limits and reach their goals.
That said, the intense nature of the classes plus the loud and dark atmosphere might be a bit overwhelming for beginners.
I will definitely be returning to this space!
“As someone who’s been working towards finding a movement routine that works for me, this studio was so so welcoming. From the moment I walked in I was greeted from the reception desk, asked about my experience with cycling and checked in with to make sure my shoes fit, which was a super kind touch. Upon entering the space, Ashley helped set me up showing me how to lock in and out, seat adjustments, handlebars, and how to maneuver the tension knob. It alleviated so many anxieties I had coming into the space. I took the Ontario ride class which was super upbeat – it was a dark and loud space which I really enjoyed but I probably would want to know in advance if I didn’t know anything about spin studios. Chadd was an INCREDIBLE instructor, he was super high energy, motivating and led the class through role modeling on the bike itself and hyping up his classmates. Make no mistake, this IS a challenging class for a beginner but not out of the realm of possibility for someone with no spin experience. I will definitely be returning to this space!”

Just a heads up—we’ve heard reports that some staff members can be a bit rude.
This studio developed my love of cycling
“*love!* SPINCO toronto! This studio developed my love of cycling and they believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. The rides are 40-50 min, the default being 50 minutes with a 3-5 minute weight section. The shorter classes don’t always lead you through a stretch period, but they give you time at the end to stay and do it yourself. every instructor i’ve ever ridden with has been amazing (especially Ryann, Anyssa & Nat!) and I love the amenities — lockers, towels, cycle shoes, showers, hair dryers & toiletries all included. music is always great and the disco ball never ceases to hype you up. if their schedule offered more classes in the late afternoon, it would be perfect!”
-Alina Kouzouian, Google Review
The facilities are flawless and the prices are pretty competitive
As the largest spin establishment across the country, and growing, we had to check them out to see what the fuss was about. The vibes at SPINCO are similar to a lot of other spin studios we see now; white and black decor, concrete, modern and pristine with an underground feeling. The classes we took at their Spadina studio were challenging, although the instructors had very very different style, the facilities are flawless, and the prices are pretty competitive with similar spin studios in Toronto at $25 for a drop-in but a 50 Class pack will drive down the price to $17 per ride. They draw a loyal, young crowd, especially at the Spadina location but they’re pretty welcoming to newbies so don’t feel intimidated to check them out.”

RISE also puts a strong emphasis on community, offering workshops and events that encourage riders to connect outside of class. This makes it easy to bond with fellow riders and make new friends.
However, do note that they are a smaller studio so their slots can be limited at times.
