Finding the best Christmas trees in Toronto can quickly become a holiday hassle. You want that fresh pine scent and sturdy branches, but carrying a giant tree through city streets is rarely convenient.
Nobody wants a dry tree that drops its needles before Christmas, either. To make your search easier, we rounded up top spots for real Christmas trees across the GTA.
We considered delivery options, cut-your-own farms, and local tree lots to help you find a convenient choice for your family. Grab some hot cocoa and start exploring!
How much does a Christmas tree cost in Toronto?
In Toronto, a Christmas tree costs between $75 and $150 for a standard real tree, though grabbing a budget tabletop option or opting for a massive premium delivery will shift that price.

| Premium & Delivery (Large/full-service) | $130 – $400+ |

Hours: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Christmas Tree Movers includes free in-person delivery directly in their advertised tree prices. They really handle the heavy lifting by bringing the tree right into your living room and setting it up.
We actually used them last year, and having the delivery team position the heavy Fraser Fir saved us a massive headache. You can easily select from Balsam or Fraser Firs, giving you solid variety for your space.
They even cut the bottom of the trunk right before setup so the tree stays fresh all season.
Just remember to have some physical bills on hand, as this business operates on a cash-only basis. Also, you must be home to receive the order to avoid redelivery fees.

Top-notch from start to finish
Christmas Tree Movers were top-notch from start to finish. Justin was very responsive prior to delivery, and him and David made sure the tree setup was perfect! They were professional, take pride in their work and it was an absolute pleasure doing business with them. We looking forward to seeing them again next year. Thank you both for such an easy process and such a beautiful tree.

2. Trees On A Truck Christmas Tree Delivery

Website: https://www.treesonatruck.ca/
Areas Served: Toronto and surrounding areas
Contact: (905)-580-1547
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Trees On A Truck acts as a full-service delivery option that includes cutting and installing the tree right in your home. They source exclusively from boutique Canadian growers that harvest smaller quantities much later in the season.
Getting multiple truckloads throughout November and December means you receive a much fresher tree. Moreover, every single tree is hand-picked by their team to make sure it matches your expectations.
You can also add extra services like protective floor mats or LED lights to your order to keep things simple.
However, the standard selection mostly focuses on just Fraser and Balsam Firs, so you have fewer standard species choices. Plus, the final dimensions can vary slightly from what you ordered since nature dictates the exact size.
The tree arrived on time, beautifully fresh, and even bigger than we imagined
We had the pleasure of using Trees On A Truck last Christmas to delivery our tree and we couldn’t recommend this service enough! The tree arrived on time, beautifully fresh, and even bigger than we imagined.

3. Fiesta Farms

Website: https://fiestafarms.ca/
Address: 200 Christie St.
Contact: +1 (416) 537-1244
Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Thursday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Friday-Sunday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Fiesta Farms stocks six different varieties of trees, giving you way more choice than most standard lots. They carry everything from small two-foot tabletop options to massive 12-foot centrepieces.
The shop sells wreaths and garlands right alongside the trees, making it feel almost like browsing the local Christmas markets.
On top of that, you can request a fresh-cut service for a small donation before tying the tree to your car.
They also offer direct delivery across Toronto and specific parts of the GTA if you prefer to skip the drive.
By the way, a friend shopped with them last winter and found the exact Scotch Pine she wanted for her apartment. She was very satisfied with the service and especially her purchase.
Keep in mind that wait times can get long, and a few customers have experienced rough interactions with busy staff during peak rushes.
It was the best selection and festive atmosphere that I had see
I was there for their Christmas trees and it was the best selection and festive atmosphere that I had seen. I had been around to a few different mid-town tree lots and this was by far the best one. Staff were great, hot chocolate was good, lovey outdoor fire pit and just a great selection of trees.

Winter time its stocked with Christmas trees and wreaths
Easily the best grocery store in the city. They have all the high end brands and products that you’d find at Pusateris or Whole Foods, but without the pretentiousness and bs. Much of their fresh produce, meat, seafood, cheese and the like stuff doesn’t come cheap, but the quality is unparalleled. If money ain’t a problem then go there and thank me later. Also their garden center during the summer is incredible and deeeeeep. Winter time its stocked with Christmas trees and wreaths. They carry a house ricotta cheese that is tres good.

4. EZ Tree Christmas Tree Delivery

Website: https://eztree.ca/
Areas Served: Toronto and surrounding areas
Contact: (416) 358-3923
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
EZ Tree operates as a dedicated Toronto delivery service that includes both drop-off and standard installation in their base pricing. They specialise in professionally graded, Ontario-grown Fraser Firs for a high-quality local option.
The team even cuts the bottom half-inch of the trunk right before carrying it inside so the tree absorbs more water.
Moreover, they specifically accommodate condominium residents by using no-mess tree bags to keep hallways completely clean. You also get a solid delivery window, so you aren’t stuck waiting around all day.
That said, you have to be home for the setup, and missing the window could result in extra redelivery charges. A tree stand isn’t included in the base package, so you must buy or rent one separately.
It’s beautiful
EZ Tree delivered our Christmas tree on Sunday. It’s beautiful! Also, it was delivered right on time, and the two gentlemen who brought it in and set it up were so nice. And they had that tree in the stand and perfectly straight — in about a quarter of the time it would have taken us to do it. (Thanks, guys!) I highly recommend EZ Tree.

They offer Balsam and Spruce varieties at their physical locations in Etobicoke and Burlington. You can easily call or text their team directly with questions about current stock instead of guessing.

Literally found “the perfect” Christmas tree right away
I don’t know what happened to Terra Greenhouse this year but their selection was terrible. After a quick google search I found this place and literally found “the perfect” Christmas tree right away when arriving at the lot (DQ parking lot). They have LOTS of selection and fair prices, I will definitely return next year. They only take cash only but there bank is across the street.
Thankyou!
