My buddy just launched his dream business, practically buzzing with excitement. To celebrate, he asked the print shop near him to print a banner for his business—only to be met with a major letdown.
The colors were dull, the image pixelated, and the whole thing looked like it belonged in a dusty attic, not a thriving storefront. This got me thinking: a good banner is crucial for making a strong first impression.
Finally, I knew what I was going to write about next.
After some serious research, I’m here to share the best banner printing services in Toronto that won’t leave you (or your business) hanging!
How much does banner printing cost in Toronto?
On average, banner printing costs in Toronto costs around $30 for a small banner or around $8 to $12 per square foot for a standard vinyl banner.
For example, a 2′ x 4′ banner might cost between $64 and $96, while a larger 4′ x 8′ banner could range from $128 to $192. Prices can vary widely depending on the size, material, and additional features you choose.
Specialty materials, such as mesh or fabric, typically cost more, averaging $10 to $15 per square foot. Custom options like grommets, hemming, and pole pockets can also add to the overall cost.
How We Chose the Best Banner Printing Services in Toronto
1. Just Print Canada
Just Print Canada is a locally-owned printing business, offering full and self-service options.
Ordering online is super easy with their three-step process: enter your details, upload your design, and call to confirm. Plus, they have self-serve computers for kiosk-based digital printing.
As for banner printing, they offer fabric banners, made from waterproof material with solvent ink that resists sunlight and high temperatures. Perfect for outdoor advertising!
They also offer mesh banners, which are windproof and made from PVC mesh gauze. Vinyl banners are another great option—known for their weather resistance, these banners can withstand rain or shine.
Lastly, they offer X-Frame banners, which are excellent for promotional purposes. These stand-alone banners are great for business meetings or trade shows, as they’re easy to set up and instantly grab attention.
However, we did hear reports of hidden charges, so be sure to clarify all costs upfront.
Calm, accommodating, & phenomenal at what they do
“I just had a banner for my food truck made and rushed from these guys. They were calm, accommodating & phenomenal at what they do. The customer service was top notch. The product was great. Will be using again for all my print and branding needs.”
Jared Wagman, Google Review
Prices were very affordable
“Printed huge posters and a banner for a school gaming event. The prices were very affordable and the staff were very welcoming and communicative.”

2. Signworld Canada
Signworld Canada is a one-stop printing shop that’s a known hub for business owners. They’ve been around since 2013, and they work with big brands like the Holiday Inn, the University of Toronto, and Toys R Us.
They specialize in customized banners up to 5 feet wide. As a bonus, they can even design them for you if you’re feeling uninspired (for a fee, of course).
They also offer all sorts of banner stands, from fancy fabric ones to the classic roll-up kind. Plus, they have extras like end caps and travel bags to keep your banner safe.
That’s not all—they’re basically a party city for anything display-related. They can print flags, easels, LED modules, and cool event exhibit solutions like tents, literature racks, and table throws.
Note that we did hear whispers about posters turning yellow after a few weeks—not ideal if you’re looking for something long-lasting.
Mighty and wonderful people to work with!
“As an Events Specialist, signage is always needed. The X Banner Stands rule the events space in my opinion, due to price point, environmental footprint, weight (for shipping), durability and more. The staff at Signworld was just awesome! Got what I needed for a tradeshow complete with quick turnaround that helped meet an incredibly tight deadline! They may be a small company but they sure are Mighty and wonderful people to work with!”

Super fast and it looks great!
“Needed a backdrop for a trade show and Signworld had the best pricing, availability and turnaround time that I could find. Placed my order, had it super fast and it looks great! Went with the 3ft straight tubes (3 of them). Mostly really easy to set up (need a little elbow grease to get the base on – any tips you have to make it easier would be super appreciated!) and they even came with gloves! Picture doesn’t do it justice. Looking forward to seeing it in my booth!”

3. Print & Gift
Print & Gift lives by the motto “You Dream It, We Print It”—which sounds pretty cool for those of us with last-minute banner needs. This Toronto-based company (originally from the UAE) prints everything, from corporate gifts to digital and large-format printing.
We like that they boast a 24-hour turnaround on vinyl banners, perfect for those clutch marketing moments. Speaking of vinyl banners, they offer a decent range of pre-set vinyl banner sizes, from a compact 24″x36″ all the way up to a billboard-worthy 36″x96″.
They also offer classic pull-up banners and X-banner displays, which are great for trade shows and events. Both come pre-sized, so you don’t have to worry about custom dimensions.
For big brand promotional banners, they have bulk discounts—great if you need a large quantity. However, be prepared to shell out a bit more since they’re a bit pricier than their competitors.
Best print shop in the city for sure!
“We were in a very tight deadline and this placed finished the job even faster than we expected. Amazing service! Best print shop in the city for sure!”

“Superior service and knowledge on any print service, I trust them for quick and quality product even if I’m in a rush! I’ve printed label stickers, postcards, small and larger posters and satisfied with all of the results. I’d recommend to everyone.”

4. TPH
TPH is a banner bonanza for Canadians—this family-owned business has locations across the country, from Vancouver all the way to Halifax. They also boast of being the first digital print network in Canada, which sounds pretty neat.
They offer custom banners in both vinyl and fabric, perfect for indoor or outdoor use. And they have a variety of banner stands to choose from, so you can display your masterpiece with ease.
If you need a banner to brave the elements, TPH’s got you covered with its durable, long-lasting outdoor banners. They also offer printing on a whole bunch of other stuff, from t-shirts to brochures—basically, a one-stop shop for all your branding needs.
Sadly, we heard mentions of bored-looking staff. While this hasn’t affected the quality of the products, it might be something to keep in mind if customer service is a top priority for you.
Best team you will ever work with
“The best team you will ever work with. Pete especially is so attentive and knowledgeable. They’ll stop at nothing to get our designs printed in the best shape possible. Would highly recommend this team and hope they’re very well taken care of :)”

TPH has been a part of my life for decades!
“TPH has been a part of my life for decades! From business cards, to documents to my most recent project: I am a Toronto Police volunteer and TPH printed our full colour posters on beautiful stock, for the Project Hope Christmas Donations Drive. Service is professional and alway very helpful. Thank you!”

5. Allegra
Allegra’s been around since 1989, so they should know their stuff when it comes to printing. Plus, they’re more than just a print shop, offering a whole suite of marketing services—that’s a potential plus if you need a branding overhaul.
They offer a wide range of custom flags and banners tailored for special events, trade shows, sales promotions, brand advertising, grand openings, and more.
Their banner options are impressive, including vinyl, fabric, pole, retractable, and more. So, there’s a good chance they’ll have what you need to make a statement.
Unlike other print shops, Allegra has comprehensive marketing services. They offer content creation, B2C strategies, social media management, promotional campaigns, and more, making them a versatile partner for your business.
Note that we heard not-so-great reports about the staff being rude and unhelpful. This is not exactly ideal if you have questions or need guidance with your banner project.
Could not provide a more glowing recommendation for Allegra
“I could not provide a more glowing recommendation for Allegra. I am a US concert promoter, who found himself entering Canada with a limited supply of Andrea Bocelli Tour Programs. Allegra came to my rescue and was able to match the very high quality of the originals and get a large quantity delivered to the arena in a matter of days. Both Warren & Alyssa were a dream to work with and all the patrons at our Toronto and Montreal patrons had programs. THANKS SO MUCH!”
