The charming Beaches neighborhood in Toronto is known for its laid-back vibe and amazing boardwalks that you can stroll on. But let’s be honest, most of the time, we go here to eat delicious fare with calming views of the water.
There’s just something special about dining in a restaurant with Lake Ontario just steps away. Just imagine the breeze smelling like salt and sunscreen, and the sunset painting everything in gold—very Instaworthy.
If you also crave good eats with a side of scenery, make sure to visit the best restaurants in the Beaches. I’ve personally visited each one, and trust me, you’re in for a treat!

Must-Order: Beef Plate
Tucked away at the west end of Toronto’s Beaches, Delina Restaurant packs a ton of fresh flavor into a tiny space. Owned by a mother-daughter duo, it serves a delicious fusion of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and East African cuisine.
The salad bar here is a dream—you can build your own plate by picking from tasty sides like tabbouleh, lentils, hummus, eggplant, beets, kale, and more. Then, you choose a protein—go classic with falafel or try the chicken shawarma or grilled fish.
If you’re a meat lover, pick my favorite, the Beef Plate. It’s tender and richly spiced, served alongside three sides: lentil rice, beet salad, and the tabbouleh.
Keep in mind that they have limited indoor seating, so I recommend getting your food to go. The beach is only minutes away—perfect for a relaxed lakeside meal with a view.
Pro Tip:
Delina offers affordable, healthy catering that’s especially great for vegetarian, vegan, or keto eaters. Trust me, your guests will absolutely rave about it.

Must-Order: Gnocchi
The Beech Tree is located along Kingston Road in the Upper Beaches. It offers English-style comfort food, with influences from Italy, France, Spain, and North Africa.
We like their focus on scratch cooking. I think it’s cool that they cure their own bacon, pickle their onions, bake their burger buns fresh, and work closely with local suppliers to source top-quality ingredients.
My go-to order? Hands down, the Gnocchi—it’s pillowy and light, tossed in a smoky tomato sauce with spinach and creamy fior di latte.
A big plus here is their bar, where you can grab a cocktail, craft beer (they have four on tap), and even crisp cider.
Pro Tip:
During summer, make sure to snag a table at Beech Tree’s patio. It’s a leafy little escape that’s perfect for sipping wine and enjoying a slow evening in the East End.

Must-Order: Khinkali
Tiflisi is a family-run, Bib Gourmand Georgian restaurant (actually one of the best Georgian dining spots in Toronto). It’s owned by the Pkhakadze family, who bring decades of culinary heritage from the Caucasus to Toronto’s east end.
A must-try is the Khinkali or Georgian soup dumplings. These beauties are filled with a juicy mix of beef and pork, and you eat them the traditional way—grab the top, flip it upside down, and bite into the skin to sip the flavorful broth before diving in.
Other amazing crowd faves are their cheesy khachapuri and hearty stews—all made from family recipes that have been passed down for generations.
To round out your meal, check out their incredible Georgian wine list. You’ll find reds and whites here that are earthy, aromatic, and delicious.
Pro Tip:
Looking for a thoughtful gift? Tiflisi offers holiday gift cards in any amount—a perfect surprise for a foodie friend or family member who’d love something homey.

Must-Order: Chicken Schnitzel
In the heart of the neighborhood lies Limon Beaches, a Middle Eastern Restaurant that offers serious flavor with a chill vibe.
I really love their cool aesthetic—you’ll find exposed brick walls, black benches, Persian rugs, and local art on display. Speaking of which, don’t miss the mural-style painting on the storefront!
Chicken Schnitzel is one of my faves here; golden, crispy, and served with fixings. But for vegetarians, I recommend their Fried Cauliflower; it’s layered with labne, pickled radish, scallions, sesame seeds, and sumac—a yummy mix of textures and tang.
The food here is so good, you’ll regret not sharing it with your family or friends via their Limon gift certificates (available for any amount).

Must-Order: Arepas
Craving bold Latin flavors in the Beaches? Inmigrante is the place to be. This spot serves up Latin American Botanas (snacks) and drinks.
Without a doubt, go for their Arepas—you get two golden cornmeal pockets stuffed with your choice of filling. The Reina Pepiada has pulled chicken, avocado, and mayo, while the Pabellon Veggie has layers of avocado, black beans, plantain, and cheese.
Now, if you can, go and grab a table on their back patio. It’s covered and heated, so you’re protected from the elements while still getting those breezy backyard vibes.
What really stuck with me is their hospitality. Their amazing servers were friendly, attentive, and passionate about the food they serve, offering recommendations and mini-anecdotes left and right.
Pro Tip:
If you have a sweet tooth (like me), don’t skip Inmigrante’s churros—crispy fried Mexican pastries served with chocolate and caramel syrup on the side.

Must-Order: Brisket Plate
Breakwall BBQ & Smokehouse is the spot for you if you’re addicted to slow-smoked meats and comfort food classics.
I love that their menu celebrates locally sourced Ontario meats. My personal pick is the Brisket Plate—imagine brisket that was marinated and smoked for 16 hours over hickory, resulting in ultra-tender slices full of deep, smoky flavor.
If you’re not in a brisket type of mood, try their wings. They’re tossed in a house-made 10-spice rub and served with your choice of twelve different sauces—yum!
And if you’re a patio lover (and who isn’t?), you’d be happy to know that they have three: main, sidewalk, and curb lane.
Pro Tip:
Take advantage of Breakwall BBQ’s Happy Hour from 4 PM to 7 PM daily. You’ll score affordable, yummy island cocktails along with live entertainment.

Must-Order: Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich
Fearless Meat is run by local legend David Brown, a butcher with over four decades of experience. His passion for great meat is proven by serving generous portions at budget-friendly prices.
You can’t go home without trying their Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich, piled high with thick, hand-cut slices of spiced brisket that are rich and juicy. Go traditional with rye and yellow mustard or mix it up with a bun and Dijon.
This place is also known for burgers with six-ounce patties made in-house using 100% beef (81% lean). In fact, they’ve snagged titles from NOW Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards: Best Toronto Burger and Best Cheap Eats Under $10!
Finish your meal with a chocolate, vanilla, cherry, or strawberry milkshake.
Pro Tip:
I recommend swinging by on the weekend for Fearless Meat’s Weekend Barbecue from 11 AM to 8 PM. It’s a local favorite offering ribs, bacon-wrapped shrimp, chicken skewers, and more.
