Ahh, sushi—those beautifully crafted pieces of fresh fish and perfectly seasoned rice—yum!
Well, what’s better than heading to a sushi restaurant to indulge your cravings? Why, going to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, of course!
But it’s important to go to the best ones. Otherwise, you’re just wasting your time, like we did last month when my friend recommended an abysmal AYCE sushi spot that made us regret every bite.
Determined to find the real gems, our friend group went on a mission to uncover only the top AYCE sushi restaurants in the city. We had a blast “investigating” them, and we hope you do too.
Check out our curated list of the best all-you-can-eat sushi in Toronto and get ready for a delicious adventure!

AYCE Price: Lunch – $28.99 – $29.99; Dinner – $38.99 – $40.99
Kung Fu Sushi believes in providing consistently great-tasting food every single time—and we think they do! Ordering here is a breeze with their user-friendly iPad system.
The 2-hour seating limit is fair, especially since their service is incredibly fast.
As for their sushi, we highly recommend the salmon sushi and salmon sashimi—they’re fresh and delicious. A word of caution: the portion of edamame is huge, so only order it if you’re with a group of three or more people.
And who can resist free ice cream cones with the AYCE menu? It’s the best way to finish off a satisfying meal.
Afterward, burn off your meal with a lovely long walk in nearby High Park.
Pro Tip:
Planning to visit Kung Fu Sushi on a weekend? We highly recommend placing a reservation first since they’re typically jam-packed on these days!

AYCE Price: Lunch – $28.99 – $30.99; Dinner – $39.99 – $41.99
168 Sushi Buffet is an all-you-can-eat sushi lover’s dream! They focus on Japanese food but also have some Korean and Chinese dishes like bulgogi and sweet and sour chicken for your crew if they’re not feeling the seaweed.
The real star here—obviously—is the sushi. It’s fresh, made all day, and they have a huge variety of rolls, sashimi, and tempura.
Don’t miss their scrumptious torched salmon sushi—it’s so amazing! And the fish portions are perfect, not skimpy, and everything is well-priced.
Bonus times three: there’s plenty of parking, it’s wheelchair accessible, and it’s super close to York University.
Pro Tip:
Just be warned, the iPads for ordering at 168 Sushi Buffet might be a little sticky, so make sure to bring some wet wipes!
Spring Sushi

AYCE Price: $31.99
Spring Sushi’s AYCE sushi is a solid win in my book. They’ve been around for a decade, so you know they’re doing something right.
Located right in the heart of Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square, it’s perfect for a pre-movie or shopping fuel-up.
We noticed that ordering on their iPad is ridiculously fast—food appears faster than you can say “wasabi!” They also have a huge selection, with over 80 sushi options, including killer torched sushi and plenty for vegetarians.
As a cherry on top, they have a gorgeous patio for summer dining.
Pro Tip:
Looking for something cooked at Spring Sushi? Good news—they’ve got you covered with delicious stuff like fried mango shrimp and mussels, teppanyaki-style!
KAKA All You Can Eat
Website: https://kakaallyoucaneat.ca/
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kakaallyoucaneat/
Address: 655 Bay St. #5
Hours:
- Monday: 11 AM – 11 PM
- Tue – Sun: 11:30 AM – 11 PM
Contact: (416) 979-3288
AYCE Price: $41.99 – $43.99
KAKA All You Can Eat has a sleek space that feels more upscale than your usual AYCE spot. The price reflects it a bit too, but at $42 weekdays and $44 weekends, it’s still a good value for what you get.
First off, the tataki selection is fire (literally, hello seared ahi tuna tataki!). They also have some unique stuff you won’t find everywhere, like albacore tuna tartare with avocado and wonton chips.
But our ultimate favorite is Chef Frank’s signature roll—an epic mix of salmon, scallops, fake crab, and spicy mayo.
They also serve aburi oshi nigiri here, which is basically torched pressed sushi. We recommend the salmon one with kimchi mayo for a bit of a kick!
Pro Tip:
Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Unlike most AYCE, KAKA has its own dessert counter with decadent things like crème brulee.
Sushi Legend

AYCE Price: $38.95 – $41.95
Sushi Legend is an AYCE sushi paradise with over 168 items to conquer!
They have everything: sashimi, rolls, fried stuff, sweet treats—seriously, something for everyone. Whether you want to go all-out on classic dynamite rolls or try a little bit of everything, it’s all good.
We recommend starting off with some edamame or a salad to warm up, then dive into the main event: the sushi! Everything’s super fresh, and their aburi sushi (seared sushi) is a must-try; it’s smoky and delicious.
If you’re not a sushi fan, no worries—they have plenty of other Japanese options like chicken katsu, seafood udon, and even enoki beef rolls. And they have some unique dishes like yuzu salmon sashimi, sake mussels, and fried shrimp with mango sauce.
Pro Tip:
Heads up—some things, like scallop sashimi, are only available on weekends and holidays, so plan your trip to Sushi Legend accordingly!
August 8
Website: https://august8.ca/
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/august8restaurant/
Address: 331 Spadina Ave.
Hours:
- Mon – Wed, Sun: 11:30 AM – 11 PM
- Thurs – Sat: 11:30 AM – 12 PM
Contact: (416) 597-2288
AYCE Price: $27.99 – $41.99
Sure, August 8 has all the sushi and sashimi you’d expect, but they also do dim sum, teppanyaki, and udon! It’s a full-on Asian fusion adventure, with locations all over the GTA.
Like most AYCE restaurants, you order everything on an iPad—no need to yell across the room for another plate of dumplings or sushi.
And their selection is huge, with sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, noodles, and even stuff sizzling on a teppanyaki grill. The sushi itself is solid—the rolls are well-packed and fresh; don’t forget to sample their amazing daikon rolls!
The sashimi also comes in thick, even slices. It’s all beautifully presented on a bed of ice to keep things chilly.
We also like their vibe inside—very cute and modern, with comfy seating.
Pro Tip:
Special Bonus Alert: August 8 is licensed and has daily drink specials, so you can grab a cheap beer or highball with your AYCE feast!
Osaka Sushi
Website: https://osakacuisine.ca/
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/osakacuisine_donmills/
Address: 747 Don Mills Rd. #9, North York
Hours:
- Mon – Thurs, Sun: 11:30 AM – 10 PM
- Fri – Sat: 11:30 AM – 10:30 PM
Contact: (416) 422-1860
AYCE Price: $29.99 – $42.99
Osaka Sushi’s AYCE is all about the rolls, especially the torched ones—I’m talking torched scallops and torched salmon—need I say more? Remember, they don’t have torched sushi everywhere, so this was a real treat.
The cooked food wasn’t an afterthought either; their skewers and BBQ short ribs were fantastic—super flavorful and not greasy. As a cherry on top, vegetarians won’t feel left out because they have a good selection of veg options too.
Just a couple of heads-up: gratuity is automatically added to the bill, but on the bright side, you get 10% off if you pay with cash!
Pro Tip:
Keep in mind that the dessert spread at Osaka Sushi is pretty limited, so if you have a sweet tooth, this might not be your best bet. Or, you might want to visit a dessert spot after.
Sushi One
Website: https://www.sushione.ca/
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sushi.one_toronto/
Address: 4924 Yonge St, North York
Hours:
- Mon – Thurs: 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Friday: 11 AM – 10 PM
- Saturday: 12 PM – 10 PM
- Sunday: 12 PM – 9:30 PM
Contact: (416) 222-0303
AYCE Price: $30 – $40
Sushi One is another top-notch AYCE sushi option near Yonge and Sheppard.
One thing they definitely get right is the presentation—the sashimi comes out beautifully arranged, and everything is nice and fresh. While the sashimi portions are a bit smaller than a la carte, they make up for it with a ton of variety.
We even saw some seasonal items like sweet shrimp and mackerel sashimi on the menu, which was a nice surprise.
They have all the usual AYCE sushi suspects—rolls, maki, appetizers—and everything is high quality. The tempura isn’t greasy, the agedashi tofu is light and crispy, and the kalbi is nice and thick.
Our top recommendations? The torched salmon sushi with jalapeño (yum!) and their sushi/sashimi small boat—perfect for sharing and a great value.
Just a heads-up: you might need to use the call button a bit to get the server’s attention.
Pro Tip:
Looking to save money? Make sure to hit the ATM because at Sushi One, if you pay cash, you save 10%!

New Generation Sushi has been around forever—well, since 1999—and it’s easy to see why. They’re all about fresh ingredients and friendly service, and it shows!
This Bloor and Bathurst spot offers AYCE sushi, nigiri, and all your Japanese food faves. The portions here are no joke – everything is nice and big, and most importantly, delicious.
Of course, they have a great sushi selection, including yellowtail and king crab, which are always a win in my books. We also tried the sashimi and were super impressed—they’re fresh and generously sized pieces.
The customer service is top-notch too. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need.
Note that they throw in free miso soup and ice cream with your meal.
Pro Tip:
New Generation Sushi can take special requests, but you have to give them a heads up a week in advance so they can get the freshest fish straight from Japan!

AYCE Price: $37.99 – $39.99
Echo Sushi is a Yonge and Eglinton AYCE spot that offers a mix of things, from sushi to hand rolls to full-on bento boxes. It’s a good option if you’re in a group with people who have different appetites.
If you want a little something-something, grab some appetizers like sashimi (chef’s choice!), shrimp tempura, or agedashi tofu. They have a great selection of hand rolls, too, from classic cucumber to spicy dynamite—which we highly recommend.
For those feeling health-conscious, they offer brown rice for your sushi, which we think is a nice touch.
We also love their wait staff who are super knowledgeable—perfect if you’re new to Japanese food.
Pro Tip:
If you’re looking for something more substantial, Echo Sushi’s udon noodle soups come in a bunch of flavors, like beef teriyaki and spicy seafood.
