The Toronto Castle boasts distinctive architecture since it used to be the Arts and Crafts Building of Exhibition Place. After the show, you can buy cool souvenirs at their gift shop—think replica swords, shields, t-shirts, keychains, and more!

Hall of Arms

The Hall of Arms is the ultimate pre-show hangout—with coats of arms lining the walls and medieval weapons on display, it’s like stepping back in time. And if you’re feeling extra adventurous, snag a sword from the gift shop or grab a drink from the bar.

You can also join the pre-show knighting ceremony, where you’ll feel like royalty for a moment. Plus, we were able to get up close and personal with the knights after the show by taking pics with them at the hall—pretty cool, right?

Horses and Falcons

At Medieval Times, you’ll get to hang out with some pretty amazing stars: the Andalusian (P.R.E.) horses. These majestic beauties grew up on their stunning Chapel Creek Ranch, where they have plenty of room to roam and explore.

And make sure you swing by to see their awesome birds of prey, too. They chill out in these cool spots called the mews, where they’ll totally mesmerize you with their legit falconry skills—definitely cool to watch!

The Show

First, you’ll be greeted by none other than King Alfonso and Princess Esperanza as they begin your Medieval Times adventure. Once you step into the electric atmosphere of the Grand Ceremonial Arena, you know you’re in for an epic showdown.

Once the feast kicks off, get ready for some serious medieval action, complete with thrilling jousting tournaments with gorgeous horses, cool falconry, and fun games. Remember, only one knight will take home the big title of Defender of the Throne!

Food and Drinks

Guests can also eat like royalty with Queen Maria Isabella’s curated four-course feast fit for knights and kings alike. From garlic bread and tomato bisque soup to roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, and herb-basted potato, every dish is simply delicious!

Of course, it’s not a four-course meal unless you get a yummy dessert—a decadent treat served alongside piping hot coffee. Just keep in mind that, depending on availability, one item from the feast may be substituted with another.

Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, there’s a meal option for you. As you settle into your seat, don’t forget to grab a non-alcoholic beverage from the castle’s selection, with rotating specials and specialty drinks available!
