10 Best Hookah Lounges in Toronto Ranked by Shisha-Loving Locals

top-hookah-lounges-toronto

The first time I tried hookah (it was watermelon-mint, if I remember correctly) was at a house party under neon lights. And yes, true to its name, I was instantly hooked.

Mind you, I’m not a smoker by any means—in fact, I once coughed trying to inhale a cinnamon stick (don’t ask). But, I’ve definitely been that person who drags a curious friend to “just try it,” and then watches them become low-key obsessed.

So, if you’re looking for a spot to puff and chill, here are the best shisha lounges in the city. Newbies and certified hookah-heads are welcome!

Relax Shisha Lounge

If you’re trying hookah for the first time, I recommend going to Relax Shisha Lounge. Staff members are happy to guide you through the menu if you’re not sure what to try, and they’ll give you tips on how to use a shisha as well.

They’re known for their amazing flavor blends and expertly prepared hookahs. You’ll see classics like Double Apple, Gum Mint, and Lemon Mint, as well as Relax Specials like Blue Mint, Love 66, and Lady Killer.

We love that they serve solid pub-style food—perfect if you get the munchies. And if you’re a sports fan, you can puff while watching a soccer game on their huge lounge screens.

Note that there’s a max of two people per shisha (extra $5 per extra person).

Address: 3411 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke

Hours: Mon – Sun: 3 PM – 3 AM

Qahwah Cafe & Shisha Lounge is an upscale modern spin on traditional hookah lounges. It offers comfy seating, plugs at every table, and even books to flip through; it also has TVs playing fireplace scenes to add to that cozy vibe.

Their menu includes a wide variety of flavors (ranging from $15 to $30 per bowl). If you’re feeling fancy, you could try one of their Fresh Fruit hookahs for a smooth twist.

We also love the staff here, who are total pros. They’re friendly, helpful, and full of recos—they’ll also keep those coals fresh without you needing to ask.

Don’t stress about parking either. There are free and paid street parking spaces nearby.

Moon Lounge

Address: 1811 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough

Hours: Mon – Thurs, Sun: 3 PM – 2 AM

If you’re a legit shisha lover who loves smooth, complex flavors, Moon Lounge should be on your radar. They’ve got a killer line of aesthetic hookahs like Alpha Hookah, Khalil Mamoon, Moon Special, and Aladdin MVP—just choose your own.

You’ve also got the traditional options like Blueberry, Watermelon, and Gum Mint, plus premium stuff like Skyfall and Blue Dragon.

Now, let’s talk service—for me, they might have the best customer service in the city. The staff are very welcoming, full of solid recommendations, and they’re always on point with keeping your coals fresh—they even try to accommodate off-menu requests!

I recommend having dinner beforehand, since they don’t serve food, only bar nuts.

Baithak Lounge

Address: 1561 O’Connor Dr, East York

Hours: Mon – Sun: 5 PM – 2 AM

Baithak Lounge is tucked alongside Cheffys (their iconic sister restaurant). So, unlike other hookah lounges that don’t serve food, this one offers top-notch grub along with your shisha.

In fact, you don’t need to leave your table for yummy food like Chili Fish and Rabri Gulab Jamun. Yep, food is served straight from Cheffys next door, and the service is seamless.

As for shisha, we recommend their Paan Kiwi. It’s refreshing, aromatic, and super easy to smoke without being overpowering.

We love their full hangout experience, too. They have a PS5 setup for gaming, comfy seating to lounge for hours, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (something for everyone).

Ibiza Lounge

Address: 41 Lebovic Ave, Scarborough

Hours: Mon – Thurs, Sun: 6 PM – 1 AM

  Fri – Sat: 6 PM – 3 AM

Ibiza Lounge is named after the iconic nightlife island, and it lives up to its name by offering a dynamic, music-filled atmosphere—perfect for a night out. For me, it feels more like a mini club than a typical lounge.

They’re known for their premium shisha collection, meaning their lineup leans more toward upscale flavors. My fave is their Hawaiian Hookah, which has a tropical punch.

If you’re feeling fancy, go for one of their VIP booths—intimate seating areas are perfect if you’re celebrating something special or just want a chill setup. But their regular couch seating is super comfy, too.

Planning a special shisha night? They also offer custom event packages, complete with DJs, themed decor, and more.

Pasha Shisha Lounge

Address: 372 Yonge St, 2nd Floor

Hours: Mon – Thurs: 12 PM – 1 AM

  Fri – Sat: 12 PM – 4 AM

  Sunday: 12 PM – 2 AM

Contact: (647) 684-0660

Located on the 2nd floor above a food hall downtown, Pasha Shisha Lounge is a hidden gem for shisha fans. You can swing by for a chill, solo session or meet up with friends for a lit night.

The seating here is comfy, with Turkish chandeliers that add to the charm. You can also watch the game on their huge-screen TVs or play with their PlayStation sets.

As for shisha, they only serve herbal ones, and they use square coconut coals (a cleaner, higher-quality option). Plus, all of their hookahs are from Khalil Mamoon, a respected brand in the industry.

For only $17, you can pick from the usual faves like Double Apple or Watermelon Mint. But for something extra, go for their signature Pasha Mix ($20)—it’s fruity and served in a real orange bowl.

Solitaire Hookah Bar

Since 2021, Solitaire Hookah Bar has been offering a homey vibe with a side of shisha.

Their hookah menu is pretty stacked with crowd pleasers like Double Apple, Lemon Mint, and Kiwi, along with unique picks like Paan and their Special House Blend. Every puff is smooth and satisfying, especially when paired with a cup of Turkish coffee.

Aside from coffee, you can also pair your shisha with a mojito or milkshake (strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate). Soft-serve ice cream is on the menu, too.

What’s cool is that they also host themed trivia nights (examples include Harry Potter, Friends, Bollywood, etc.). You can also enter competitive in-house games, where you score free hookah if you win—yay!

Opal Lounge

Opal Lounge is the place to be if you’re craving top-shelf halal food and shisha. It has three floors, including a heated rooftop patio that practically glows at night!

Their shisha menu offers the usual favorites, but it also has creative ones like Cinnamon Gum, Titanic, and their signature Opal Special Mix. The shisha is always smooth, full of flavor, and clearly made with care.

You can pair your session with something from their food and drink menu. Mocktails, milkshakes, exotic mezze platters—you name it.

If you want to experience a buzzing energy along with your shisha sesh, visit on weekends for DJs, belly dances, and surprise performers.

Shisha Marquise

Address: 919 Danforth Ave

  Fri – Sat: 3 PM – 3 AM

  Sunday: 2 PM – 2 AM

Contact: (437) 984-3499

Shisha Marquise is a must-visit if you want a shisha-focused experience guaranteed to make you a regular. First things first—secure a leather L-shaped sofa upstairs for maximum comfort.

They use 100% coconut coals for heat management, as well as top-tier, German-made, Turkish-style shishas with silicone and aluminum heads.

Flavor-wise, they have the familiar Al Fakher line-up (Double Apple, Grape, etc.), but the real gems are the Turkish premium blends. You can also check out their fresh fruit bowls like Watermelon Heads—they’re as delicious as they are Instagram-worthy.

If you’re hungry, no worries—they’re located near Efes and City Fried Chicken.

Dream Shisha Lounge

Hours: Mon – Thurs, Sun: 5 PM – 2 AM

  Fri – Sat: 5 PM – 3 AM

Contact: (647) 614-2075

Dream Shisha Lounge boasts over 25 years of experience, and it shows—from how the coals are packed to how the servers greet you. Plus, they probably have the largest variety of shisha flavors I’ve ever seen!

Of course, they offer classics like Mint and Double Apple, but they also have fun mixes like Cola, Wild Mango, and Bubble Gum ($30-$45). And they use premium Aeon hookahs, which are not only gorgeous but also offer a cleaner, smoother smoke.

There’s always something going on too, like their Smoke and Sound nights featuring guest DJs, or game nights where wearing a jersey can score you free drinks/ hookahs.

If you’re bringing a car, I recommend arriving early—there are only a couple of free parking spots out front.
